Tokyo School Life - All Choices/Endings Guide

A guide to give a basic understanding of how the choices in the game work and how to reach your desired ending. 98% spoiler free guaranteed.

The only spoilers in this guide are the choices you can make. Context for these choices will not be provided. If there are any corrections, additions, or suggestions to be made to the guide, feel free to message me or leave a comment.

I would personally recommend playing through the game once on your own before using a guide. There's more satisfaction when you succeed using only your own power.

Basic Mechanics

The game can be split into two parts: making choices and the ending you earned.

The first half involves making eight choices that affect what endings will be available to you later. When you make a choice, there are three different results that can happen:
1. No bling sound.
2. A normal bling sound!
3. A large bling sound!!

This reflects how many "affection points" you received.
No bling = 0 points
Normal bling = 1 point
Large bling = 2 points

Six of the choices you make will affect only one particular girl out of the three, meaning each girl has two choices for you. The other two choices will have you pick between the girls. This will make more sense when I get into the details of each choice.

You need to receive at least four affection points from a girl to make her ending become available. Receiving more than four does not affect the ending. For example, getting the maximum of six points does not give you a better ending than getting the minimum of four points.

Choices

Here is a detailed list of each choice. These choices are presented in the same order each time you play.

1st Choice
- Japanese food, famous around the world for being healthy. (1 point - Aoi)
- Western food, I'm used to it and it suits my tastes. (1 point - Sakura)
- Chinese food, with its rich flavor. (1 point - Karin)

2nd Choice
- To use your strength to help the weak! (2 points - Aoi)
- To get strong and win fights! (0 points - Aoi)
- To exercise for good health (1 point - Aoi)

3rd Choice
- It was really cool! (1 point - Karin)
- It was really cute! (2 points - Karin)
- Doing otegei was really fun! (0 points - Karin)

4th Choice
- The battle scenes are so flashy and awesome! (0 points - Sakura)
- The contrast between sweet Saigou-chan and her gallant samurai heart! (2 points - Sakura)
- Saigou-chan's romance with the dreamy male characters! (1 point - Sakura)

5th Choice
- A showy girl like Karin (1 point - Karin)
- A helpful girl like Aoi (1 point - Aoi)
- A quiet girl like Sakura (1 point - Sakura)

6th Choice
- If you like it, then that's all that matters. (1 point - Karin)
- I think cute stuff suits you more! (2 points - Karin)
- Yeah, cool stuff does probably suit you better. (0 points - Karin)

7th Choice
- Of course, the real thing is scary! I'd run right away! (0 points - Aoi)
- Yakuza are so cool! I'd ask for his autograph! (1 point - Aoi)
- Before labeling him as a yakuza, I'd wanna know what kind of person he is. (2 points - Aoi)

8th Choice
- Honestly, I liked it. (1 point - Sakura)
- I was surprised at that concept. (2 points - Sakura)
- I don't think that's right. (0 points - Sakura)

Endings

There is a final choice that lets you pick one of the endings you made available. Okinawa is Karin's ending, Osaka is Aoi's ending, and Kyoto is Sakura's ending. If you didn't get a girl, then you don't get a final choice and you go to Hokkaido without any girls, otherwise known as a bad ending. For those who are lazy or are dedicated to a specifc girl's ending or didn't bother to read anything I said before this, here's a brief list of endings and how to get them.

What if the Gaijin wants a Harem?

Unfortunately, if you're hoping for a harem ending, there isn't one. However, if you want the closest you can get to a harem or are just feeling lazy and don't want to repeat the first half of the game for each ending, then these are the choices to make:

- First choice doesn't matter, pick whatever you feel like. (1 point - whoever responds)
- To use your strength to help the weak! (2 points - Aoi)
- It was really cute! (2 points - Karin)
- The contrast between sweet Saigou-chan and her gallant samurai heart! (2 points - Sakura)
- Fifth choice doesn't matter, pick whoever you feel like. (1 point - whoever you chose)
- I think cute stuff suits you more! (2 points - Karin)
- Before labeling him as a yakuza, I'd wanna know what kind of person he is. (2 points - Aoi)
- I was surprised at that concept. (2 points - Sakura)

You will get at least four points for each girl and all the endings will be available to you. If you want, just save right before you pick a destination/ending and you won't have to do the choices again.

Karin's Maximum Affection

For those who want to dedicate their hearts to Karin.

- Chinese food, with it's rich flavor. (1 point)

- OKINAWA

**This choice doesn't affect the ending.

Aoi's Maximum Affection

For those whose hearts need as much Aoi love as possible.

**This choice doesn't affect the ending.

Minimum Affection Possible

The bad ending. For those whose hearts relish in their own deprivation of love.
Or for those who like to be completionists or who are just curious.

- First choice doesn't matter, pick whatever. (1 point - whoever responds)
- To get strong and win fights! (0 points - Aoi)
- Doing otagei was really fun! (0 points - Karin)
- The battle scenes are so flashy and awesome! (0 points - Sakura)
- Fifth choice doesn't matter, but try to avoid the same girl you picked in the first choice. (1 point - whoever you pick)
- Yeah, cool stuff does probably suit you better. (0 points - Karin)
- Of course, the real thing is scary! I'd run right away! (0 points - Aoi)
- I don't think that's right. (0 points - Sakura)
- (No choice) HOKKAIDO

This will only give you a grand total of two points. You can still get this ending even if you get 1 point from each choice, so long as you divide choice 1 and 5 between different girls. You must get less than four points from each girl for this ending to occur.

Bonus/Secret Message?

Once you complete all three endings for the girls, you will get a little message from them and the developers. I'll let you look forward to hearing the message yourself.
