This mod is Discontinued!

If you are using this because of a dependency from another mod, contact the mod author to convert to the new mods.
The new version of this is split into two mods:
CMM - Community Materials Mod
CCM - Community Components Mod

Planet spawns of the new ores is built into the CMM...
Dont add the CMM or CCM directly, they are configured as dependencies and will load automatically when Blocks V2 is added.

If you are using my Blocks mod:
Add only the new version below and remove all mods that point to Gen's Blocks, Gen's Materials, or Gen's Planets extension. Especially any other mods that use them as a dependency.
It can be added from: Gen's Blocks V2 - WIP - Survival Major

Replaced ice textures
Replaced some other Voxel Textures
Changed Icons (Some were mismatched to the color of the Ore texture)
Added MineralIce Voxel to Asteroids
Mineral Ice contains small quantities of various resources.(H2, He, Li, N2, O2, Na, AL, Cl, Ti, FE, Ni, PB, Zn)
Adjusted all definition tiems to match current vanilla settings.

Mercury texture looks like vomit. Working on it :P

Incompatible mods:
Small Ship Mega Mod Pack :( because this mod changes all of the component sizes adding it before this causes small ship ref and assemblers to not function. Adding it after causes loss of my changes to components/ingots/Icons.

Elements Included: note: there are several that do not have an asteroid texture. For example, Helium comes from processing stone or Lunar Regolith.
Copper (Now split into 3 different texture spawns, same ore)
Helium - Liquid (With Gas Bottle ingot model)
Hydrogen - Liquid (With Gas Bottle ingot model)
Nickel - (Green instead of almost Iron colored)
Nitrogen - Liquid (With Gas Bottle ingot model)
Oxygen - Liquid(With Gas Bottle ingot model)
Uranium (Yellowish Black)
Chlorine - Liquid (With Gas Bottle ingot model)
Plutonium (does not spawn - created with a breeder reactor for use in Tactical Nukes)

Vanilla Material Mods:
All Ore and Ingot icons have been recolored to match my new ones.

Components Included:
Copper Plates - Requires Copper
Large Copper Tubes - Requires Copper
Small Copper Tubes - Requires Copper
Wire Spools - Requires Copper
Plastic Parts - Requires O2, H2, C, (Will require Cl)
Cryogenic Pumps - Requires Fe, Ti, C, Ni
Titanium Alloy Plates - Requires Fe, Ti, C
Ceramic Tiles (heat resistant) - Requires Si, Gravel
Cutting parts

Planned: (Subject to change)
Carbon Fiber
Atmospheric Scrubbers (CO2)
Hardware (more construction components)
Seals (Not the kind that eat fish)

If you are using other production mods, make sure they are above this mod in the list. Keen has been messing with mod order lately. If you get errors in the Alt+F11 screen try reversing the order of my mods.
For suspected conflicts with other mods, try placing the entire group of my mods at the top or bottom of the mod list.

Dependencies do most off the heavy lifting. In some ways they are actually more split as the voxels and components were massed as a base for other modders this time around.

Right I got that they are combined now, but we needed your planets add-on to get the ores to spawn on planets, is that part of the core combo ore mod now?

I'm trying to document everything but there's a lot to document.
If you are using my blocks mod, unload all 3 mods and just add my Blocks V2 mod, everything works off dependencies.

NM I found it(Had to click on every mod to see what you had done), Looks like you are reffering to "CMM - Community Materials Mod (WIP)" right? I didn't see a replacement for the planets spawn version, will that be getting a rework as well? Thank you for all your hard work in getting these updated so quickly :)

@Geneticus I just looked at all your posted workshop files for SE, and I saw no new files, just the DX9 version and this one.

Does this still work with the change they made so rocks refine into ores at the start in Survival?

@Sage The Next Version (alpha on my Workshop) adds Xenon. That version will be getting an update very soon that alters the IDs of all recipe Blueprints and BlueprintClasses.
