Updates
Spirit Parade to feature full English voice acting!
Please note that all of the voice samples were taken from the actors’ blind audition files and have not been engineered/edited at all. These lines will also sound quite different in-game since proper mood, character, and context will have been established then; we just wanted to give everyone a little teaser so you’ll have an idea of how things will sound!

Description
Release date: 2016
Spirit Parade is a commercial otome game with Asian mythological themes currently in development by Lettuce Waltz, with release slated for late 2015.

The story centers on Nara (her name can be set by the player), a cynical 17-year-old girl who mostly shut herself off from the world after contracting spinal polio at a young age and becoming unable to walk. One night while at a festival in town, her soul is suddenly pulled from her body and transported to the Spirit World, where all the demons and spirits are celebrating a month-long festival. Until the end of this festival, Nara won't be able to return home…

The game is still in developpement, don't loose hope ! They posted a comment on https://lettucewaltz.itch.io/spirit-parade .

"Hi everyone, dev Lore here. [...] This project is most certainly not dead, nor is it a scam. We were just at PAX East promoting it with a new demo and such, I've just been trying to iron out the kinks in that demo before releasing it to the general public. I was waiting to update when that was ready. [...] There isn't a lot to report right now, the game is just getting done slowly but surely. We'll try our best to update the blog soon. [..] our determination to finish the game has never wavered. [...] I'm sorry again for the trouble and for worrying everyone. I know it's probably extra troubling because we used to be so on track with updates, [...] Thanks for reading."

I'm glad I did not get into VN's like my friend... she wasted 10 bucks on this, probably never gonna see it back or the product she paid for. Never does research either - look for news and release dates before buying I say.

amazing demo and can't wait for your release. Pretty inspiring to see such heart and good work put into your game design. I completely enjoy your sense of humor when reading your blog and questions to the characters. Keep it up!
