2018 update
Clearing some misconceptions about the game
Description
Sinking Simulator is back!

It's been a long time we haven't updated the Steam page,
Do not worry, the game isn't dead, far from it.

Sinking Simulator 2 is a follow up to the failed project started up by Pac0master and Luke Wren.
Now, Frederic Nieto (Wicpar) is the programmer who worked hard throughout the last few years to make us this great simulator.

Sinking Simulator isn't designed to be a Super realistic simulator for Engineers and what not.
This is a fun 2D simulator where people can create various ships and other structure using a specific Color code in a PNG image.

You create what ever you want and load it into the simulator.

By default, a pixel is approximately 1 meter (or just over 3 feet)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The current game is in alpha stage, You can try it for free. However, the full game will cost about 5-10$.

Francis Racicot, for creating the project based of different Idea. He took risks and really wanted this project to succeed.
Frederic Nieto for reviving the project. He is the programmer behind the new game.
Steven Markaterios, for keeping creating videos of the game and helping the community it used to had.
Roy Berardo, for the awesome musics he is creating for the game.

Thank you a lot

Whenever I try and spawn a ship in, they're just spikes and all, please help me if you can.
READ ME file tells me that you have to drag the PNG file into the game window to import a ship, but my mouse turns into a circle with a line through it whenever I try to do that. Why?

Perhaps you forgot to look at the "README" file that comes with the game
This is a "stable" WIP build,
there's no rigidity right now because ships are always rigids, it may be added later
there's no water pressure because the entire physics system has been reworked from scratch, and Fred didn't have time to add it as of yet
You spawn ships by dragging any PNG files on the game window.

I downloaded and ran it and see a menu with only a few things on it and no ships listed at all...

I first get a tiny screen that says "Choose platform" and there is only one selection - NVIDIA CUDA , then I get a screen that is similarly tiny and says "choose device" and a graphics card is listed, a GeForce GTX 760. Then I hit enter and the menu and screen come up.
BUT...
My toolbox has only 5 items in it on the right, Speed, wave width, wave height, floor depth, and brush width. The menu consist of only selections: None, Flood, DeFlood, Move, and Break.

THAT IS IT...

Where are all the other parameters like rigidity and so forth? Where are the ship selections? There is nothing. The ship doesnt even flood ... It just sits there with whatever water you put in it. This is the version referenced on this very page! 3.2...You cant even select a ship... Titanic comes up by default rising from the bottom and zoomed way in.
