Aesthetics and minutiae apart, while the hammer version of the "get the cubes" puzzles was better than the workshop version of the "get the cubes" puzzle, I think that when looking at the complete test the workshop version is better than the hammer version because the "get the cubes" puzzle, is much, much more thematically fitting with the rest of the test.
(It might also be because I swear that the hitbox on that button gets smaller when you fall by it than it is when you are standing beside it. You reckon it could be a frame/framerate thing?)
