Adjust FOV and Camera, Skip Intro Videos, Fix Cutscenes in Ultrawide, Add Immersive HUD (Mulderland's Enhancement Pack)

The easiest and most automated way to enhance 007 First Light. This Enhancement Pack includes Skip Intro, an immersive HUD, ultrawide cutscene fixes (removes letterboxing), FOV and camera tweaks, plus MulderConfig to configure everything with a single click.

Introduction

Welcome to another Enhancement Pack from the Mulderland project.

If you're not familiar with Mulderland, my goal is to enhance and modernize PC games by fixing technical issues, improving compatibility, and adding quality-of-life features. While the project originally focused on classic games, I also create Enhancement Packs for recent releases whenever I feel they can benefit from them, such as 007 First Light or Silent Hill f.

Think of each Enhancement Pack as a carefully curated collection of mods, patches, tweaks, and fixes, bundled into a simple installer. The project is built with NSIS and Rust, and is fully open source.

Although 007 First Light is a brand-new game (an an excellent one imo), it is not technically perfect. This Enhancement Pack aims to address those issues and provide the best possible experience.

Included Enhancements

• Removes letterboxing during cutscenes on ultrawide resolutions
  
• Extends the FOV and adjusts camera settings
  
• Skip the intro videos
  
• Adds a more immersive HUD
  
• MulderConfig, a user-friendly interface to enable, disable and configure all these features with a single click

Install the Enhancement Pack

1) Get the latest version of the installer here:

• Go to: https://www.mulderland.com/games/007-first-light
  
• Click "Download"

2) Run the installer

• Double click on the executable.

There's no need to run it as administrator. If the installer refuses to launch, see the "A MulderLoad installer refuses to run" section on my help page: https://www.mulderland.com/help

3) Follow the installation wizard

Screen 1: Welcome screen.


Screen 2: Browse to your game installation folder, then select the Retail directory, 007FirstLight.exe will be there.

Screen 3: Component selection.

While not every component is required, I highly recommend installing them all. Every feature can later be enabled, disabled, or configured individually through MulderConfig.

Click Install, wait a couple of minutes, and you're done!

Using MulderConfig

At the end of the installation, you'll be prompted to launch MulderConfig.

You can also launch it later at any time. It is located in your game installation folder:
MulderConfig.exe

When you open it, you'll see this:


Simply choose your preferred settings, then click Save (to store your configuration in MulderConfig) and Apply (to apply your changes to the game).

Close MulderConfig and relaunch the game. That's all there is to it!

That would make a MUCH more immersive experience.

@BizSAR: Hi. That happens sometimes, because the executable is signed with a self-signed certificate. In most cases, the false positive is removed after a few hours.
