Dragon Age: Thedas at War: Version 0.1.1.1 for CK3 version 1.19.0.6

DATAW is a total conversion mod set in the world of Bioware’s Dragon Age video game series. Dragon Age is a dark fantasy series where you step into the shoes of unlucky heroes, finding their lot in life forever changing under dire circumstances. This mod aims to bring the in-game continent of Thedas to Crusader Kings 3, allowing everyone to tell their own stories in this vast world.

• Bookmark: Ten years after the Second Blight, Thedas is in the midst of healing whilst once again seeing war on the horizon. Place yourself into the thick of the growing tension as Hassandriel of the Dales, who is trying to ensure his people are not annihilated by Orlais. Take the reigns of Teyrn Caedmon, who has proclaimed himself as king of Ferelden in his bid to unite everyone under his banner. For those that prefer their politics, join the men and women of Orlais who are always looking to ascend beyond their station.
  
• Ferelden Struggle: Experience the struggle of the dog lords, with teyrns and arls alike fighting over the lands of Ferelden. Everyone within the borders of the ununified Ferelden country may partake in the struggle to emerge as the first King or Queen.
  
• Mega Wars: We have a Mega Wars system with the intent to provide a more immersive experience for larger wars. This system is designed to make realm-wide wars involve less powerful characters within any given realm. Lesser vassals may pick a side, aiding a rebellion if they so wish to reap the benefits or to suffer the consequences appropriately.
  
• Magic: You are able to play as a mage, but only those who are outside of a Circle for the time being. Most mages are kept in a Circle of Magi, but for those who are not, you can play as a landed or unlanded character with magical abilities. Wield spells against your enemies, or use them to keep your allies alive! In this world, magic is feared by many all across Thedas.
  
• Artifacts, Clothes, & Buildings: You’ll find a wide array of unique assets all across the map! From face paint to crowns, even buildings seen from the video games themselves.
  
• New Cultures & Religions: Currently, there are 40 playable cultures with multiple religions to experience. Worship the Maker, the Evanuris, or the Mountain Spirits just to name a few.
  
• A Carefully Curated Map: From The Western Approach to Brandel’s Reach, this map visualizes Thedas in a way that is as realistic as possible for peak immersion.

What is next?
It is our shared goal to continue adding as much content as humanly possible for the foreseeable future. We plan to release content in chunks, generally based on complex additions.

Do I need DLC for this mod?
Not at all! We intend to make this mod accessible for those that do not wish to purchase the DLC. It is advised to have the Roads to Power & Royal Court DLC in order to play landless characters until further notice.

What languages are supported?
Currently, the only language the mod is localized in is English.

What about multiplayer?
At this time, we cannot guarantee a stable experience should you try to play with others. However, if you would like to report any issues, join our Discord server to give us feedback!
