Description
About 2.5 minutes long scripted intro for measuring your average FPS. Emphasis on AI fighting performance, bullets, and explosions.

The mission is very CPU heavy; you'll probably won't get much above 40 fps even on a high-end PC.

You can save up to 20 results. Useful for comparing performance between different game versions, system setups, game tweaks and mods.
Select multiple results with ctrl+mouse click to view their average score.

PLEASE NOTE: this isn't an exact scientific benchmark because of the AI. Its movement, shooting and other actions are inherently random, so every run is always a bit different. Expect about ±2 fps variance between runs. So if you intend to compare effects of some minor system/settings tweaks, they probably won't be visible with YAAB.

Latest version: YAAB v1.00 (Jan 17th 2019)
- Minor fixes for UI and mission

You're right. Although the many of the meaningful FPS determining settings are included in the mission's "standard" preset, it's not exactly the same.

I may remove the feature altogether in the future.

I wish mod author to remove or rename Standard settings mode. It misleads users. Actually, if you use Standard settings preset (in game video settings tab) + Standard settings (press "S" in scenarios) you will get X FPS, then switch to Low preset (in video settings tab) + Standrad settings (press "S" in scenario) gives you Y FPS. The difference may be huge, for example X gives you 50 FPS and Y gives you 60 FPS. You are unable to compare results with other players, because of that problem.

To players: don't use standard settings mode if you share your results with others. Go to Game settings then Video settings and apply Standard preset there. Otherwise, your results are useless.
