Location: Great Youkai Forest, 23:00 - Clear Night Sky.

Great Youkai Forest is the first map for Lambda Core: Gensokyo, a fan-made, non-commercial crossover project built around environmental storytelling, atmospheric pacing, and experimental narrative structure.

It originally just started as a random “what if” idea.

Like:
what if Half-Life’s bad ending wasn’t actually the end for Freeman?

Instead of just refusing the offer/dying there, G-Man basically throws him somewhere completely outside his original world, which eventually ends up being Gensokyo.

This map/build is part of an ongoing experimental atmospheric crossover project called Lambda Core.

The Workshop release mainly exists for public testing, atmosphere experimentation, and open iteration.

The current priority is building a strong playable atmosphere and environmental identity before expanding the project's technical scope.
