Da Spokesman ended up gaining his powers from his professor after winning the High School football championship. It was an amulet with a reflective orb that was passed down through his family.
Since he saw Da Spokesman as a son figure he gave it to him on a special occasion as this.
Interesting thing enough he would not know what the true essence of the orb until one stormy night. He was watching his favorite sport team playing when the orb had started to glow. Then the lightning flash and struck him in the orb and knocked him unconscious.

It is during this state the powers are imbued into him since he was a sport fanatic his powers was based on the powers of skill set need for each sport of his favorite teams.

Falcons: Great Strength and ability to prevent being knockback and strong blasts
Braves: Ability to wield a spirit blade that look like a bat and able to shoot projectiles where he can charge up the shot (level up)
Hawks: Travel up to the Speed of light, ability to teleport
Force: This is the Ultimate Form which have the attributes of the others.

Toni Da Bookie has kidnapped Da Spokesman mother and sisters because he refused to throw the championship game which resulted Toni to lose alot of cash. Boss Hawg and Temptress are holding his two sisters captive while Toni is holding his mother captive.

Da Spokesman woke up early in the morning and couldn't find his family, instead he found a threatening letter!
"Join us or we will get rid of your family"
You should save both his sisters and his mother before it's too late!!

@CDplaya, It was mainly just for the fun of it. We had used some images or characters that we were given the okay to use and Sisi Roll was one as well as the guys in Boss Hawg stage. I forgot which game they came from.

We were mainly testing out what we could do. The second one we had made was pretty fun.

Sory for double post, but here is the link to backup my statement. shows up about 24 seconds into the video.

Why is Sisi Roll (A sub-boss from Mega Man 8's Clown Man stage) in your video?

@Xipheral: I actually have someone who draws the pictures for me. So that would take some time to get that updated. Depending on the stage the monsters operate differently. Once you play the game you would see that it is not as easy as you think. I had a feeler group that had a hard time getting to the boss of each stage let alone beat them.

It is for that reason, I had to modify the actions of some monsters.

@daspokesman: What does that have to do with anything? You're not here to show teasers/advertise your game. You are here to pitch your game for Steam... right?
You should be giveing people a firm grasp of what your game is about and how it plays, you should not be trying to give people just a hint of it. Assuming you want to get in that is.

Yeah, it looks a bit better now. But also change the font of the "New Game", "Load Game", and "Exit Game", to something else. Maybe the font you used on your logo.

Also, I hope you're working on the AI. It'll be boring if enemies are just programmed to go straight at you, as you can just spam the attack button to kill them. Make them move in random patterns that'll make it a little more difficult. (But not too difficult!)

Oh, and maybe rework some of the sprites. The explosion animations look like they could be improved. And as I said, that stadium light looks pretty bad (no offense) If you're still trying to improve your skills in drawing or editing in Photoshop, try and get someone you know to do the art first. (Which brings me to the question, did you work on this alone, or do you have a team?) But assuming you're the one who drew your profile pic and logo, I don't think it'll be too hard for you. :D

@Xipheral, I had updated the title screen. Is that what you were referring to?

@Stealth: thanks
