Forest RTS (WIP)

Forest RTS is a RTS map where you chop lumber, construct buildings and train troops to fight your enemies. You can either choose to play against patrolling groups of enemy soldiers or against other players if players are present on both teams. Any constructive feedback is highly appreciated. This mod should be played with players on both teams!

How to play:
- Find a suitable spot to make a base.
- Construct a Main Tent and Gold Mine.
- Train workers to harvest lumber.
- Construct buildings, train troops and research upgrades before crushing the enemy!

- Train 10 workers as soon as possible.
- Kill neutral camps early on to get extra gold and lumber. Make sure to have a few troops to support your hero!
- Once you have a sizeable army, take the lumber camp in the middle of the map to get extra lumber income.

Current Game Modes:
Single Player Mode:
- When there is only one player in the game, soldiers will be spawned on the enemy team. These will then follow a predetermined path around the map, where the player can assault it for gold and xp. When a patrol is killed, a stronger one is spawned. You will have vision of all the patrol units. This mode is mainly meant for testing out the map!

Co-Op vs Soldiers Mode:
- When all the players in the game are on the same team, soldiers will be spawned on the enemy team. This mode works more or less exactly like the Single Player Mode, except that the troop count spawned will be adjusted according to the number of players. 2 players means twice the troop count, 3 players means 3 times the troop count etc. You will have vision of all the patrol units.

Normal Mode:
- The default mode when there are players present on both teams. Chop lumber, construct buildings and train troops to defeat the other team. The first team to get a certain amount of kills wins. No patrol groups will be spawned in this mode.

- The creators of the "Dota 2 Building Helper" Library:
Used for the construction and placement of buildings.

Thank you for the constructive feedback! I will try to prioritize fixing these things once I've got the opportunity to work on the mod again.

Aaand maybe bug : I can use repair on units (not hero tho) its really OP
Also ranged units in towers dont attack automatically even if the tower is attacked.

First of all , i think it would be nice if player could build more tent for wood depository. but that's okay.
Next , I think the unit training should be improved , the fact i need to wait for units 1 by 1 irritates everyone i played with. If u can , u should make "queue" for the units to train in the inventory on the right,something u can do in other mods (viz. Troll and elves).
Also i think it would be nice if u could do 1v1v1v1 mode.
Aaand more upgrades to damage etc.

Thats all i can think of rn.It's really nice mod,but it really needs some more work because it really is unfinished and i cant get anyone to play with me anymore.

@Rumovy: I don't think I'll get others to help me with the mod, but hopefully I will be able to continue to work on it in a few months, and then I'll try to spend quite some time on fixing the issues. As the patrols in single player were only meant to be temporary, I will try to redo it completly to hopefully get rid of the lag and make single player more enjoyable. If you have any suggestions to what you'd like to see, I'd be glad to hear about it.

This has really good potencial , but it really needs some updates. Have u ever considered about having someone help u with the mod ? This mod is currently not that playable , due to the unit lag when there's too much going on.

Renamed that function, so should be fixed
You should get around to updating stat-collection. Valve renamed the CreateHTTPRequest function to CreateHTTPRequestScriptVM, so that most mods that call it crash, and none of them will be recording stats. It's been almost 7days now. We sent an email to the devs that registered on the site.

@Podrakovnik: I have something called mouse arm, which makes it painful to use a computer. Until that's healed, I can't work on the mod.
