Demo Version 2.9.0

Embark on an adventure to track down Atrus on his journey to save Myst and its linked Ages from a multitude of evil forces. His sons, Sirrus and Achenar, are trapped and plead for your aid. Yet wits alone will not be the only talent required to succeed in this battle for the Ages of Myst.

If starting a new Party, set to Easy.

If importing a mid- to high-level Party, set to Normal.

Set to Hard at your own Risk!

This is a re-interpretation of the first Myst game by Cyan, Inc.

That's not a bug, that is intentional. There is a way to kill the gobhobblers.

The gobhobbler boss fight is bugged, the pressureplates can only be activated by players or npcs, not items, and the giant cannon wielding rats wont leave the "hidden passage" no matter what, which means as i have to stand on the plate, i cant attack them.

I am stuck in Candlewood trying to find a way to the forest to get the Candlewood Book. I think I have tried all the light combo's. Is there a walkthrough for the full version? Any hints please?

having thoroughly enjoyed Mystrock (demo) I downloaded and am well into Artisans Path. I am finding some difficulty (no criticism of the mod just me) Do you plan a walkthrough to follow on from the first one?

Guessing games really seem to be a common theme in Grimrock 2 mods thanks to stellar hints. Maybe I'm dense, but couldn't some of these hints be a bit more forthcoming?

Instead of “blue” and “red”, why not have a metaphor like "The gate is craving for a ruby." with a torch next to the grey alcove to make it less innocuous on the grey wall? Instead of “…”, why not tell the player "Art evaluation: Nothing to evaluate." or something?

Then there’s the sound wall. Why would you start counting from the top as if you were reading text? A more logical start would be the lowest note at the bottom-left or the highest one at the top-right. More unnecessary guessing that could be prevented by a simple note of the composer saying "I was pulling levers from top to bottom and eventually found a nice melody." to clarify his method.

These tiny changes might make the riddles too easy for some, but less frustrating for those who play without point-and-click mentality.
