Remote Play in Capy Castaway

This is a How to use Remote Play for Capy Castaway co-op. One person can play Capy, and the other can play Corvi.
Steam’s Remote Play Together lets you play local co-op games online by streaming the game from one player’s computer to another.

Make sure everyone has Steam updated

Sounds obvious, but the most common error is usually that Steam or the game has not been updated.

Both players need:

• A Steam account
  
• The Steam client is installed and updated
  
• A stable internet connection

Only one person needs to own the game.

Invite your friend

Open the game! Once you have Capy Castaway open;

• Press Shift + Tab to open the Steam Overlay
  
• Open your Friends List
  
• Right-click your friend’s name
  
• Select Remote Play Together
  
• Your friend will receive an invite and can join the session.

It's important to know that once they join, you will have to turn on 2 Player mode so one person can only control one character and not interfere with each other.

You should be good to run around and get into shenanigans together!

Issue connecting 2nd player

If you're able to both connect with Steam Remote Play Together, but one user is unable to use their controller/ keyboard despite being connected, follow these steps.

• These steps are to be completed by the host of the Remote Play Together
  
• Go to your Steam controller settings with Shift + Tab
  
• Once you can see the controller settings, go to the bottom and change your friend's controller layout
  
• Deselect the mouse and keyboard or reselect the controller icon
  
• You and your friend will be able to play together now!
