How to share Necesse save files with your friends
By Referenced_Memory
My friend and I kept wanting to jump back into our Necesse world, but we could never be online at the same time. The world just sat there. Then I found a way to share it so either of us can host. This guide walks you through the setup and explains how it works. Takes about 5 minutes, then you can play whenever you want.

You'll need SaveSync (one-time purchase with lifetime updates)
Setup Steps
1. Close Necesse completely after creating a new save

2. Open SaveSync → Select Necesse
3. Click "+ New Save" → Choose your world

4. Wait for sync (green checkmark)
5. Click share icon → Add your friend

That's it! Your friend can now host your Necesse world.
How Your Friend Accesses the World
1. Open SaveSync
2. Find the shared Necesse save
3. Click "Activate"

4. Launch Necesse and play!
How It Actually Works
Your Necesse world is already stored as a .zip file in a folder on your computer. Normally, if you wanted your friend to host that world, you'd have to find the worlds folder, grab the .zip file, send it over Discord or email, and then your friend would have to figure out where to put it on their machine. And every time one of you plays and the world changes, you'd do the whole thing again. That's the pain.

SaveSync does all of that automatically. When you share a world, it uploads your world's .zip file to the cloud. When your friend clicks "Activate," it downloads that file and puts it in the exact right spot on their computer -- the same worlds folder where Necesse looks for them. No hunting for folders, no manual file transfers, no "wait, where does this go?" Necesse just sees the world and loads it like normal.

Important: SaveSync only works when Necesse is not running.
