How to Continue Your Alchemy Factory Save When Host is Offline
By NullPointer
My friend and I kept wanting to work on our Alchemy Factory together, but we could never get online at the same time. Our save just sat there. Then I found a way to share it so either of us can host. This guide walks you through the setup and explains exactly how the whole thing works under the hood. Takes about 5 minutes, then you can play whenever you want.

You'll need SaveSync (one-time purchase with lifetime updates)
Setup Steps
1. Close Alchemy Factory completely after creating a new save

2. Open SaveSync → Select Alchemy Factory
3. Click "+ New Save" → Choose your save

4. Wait for sync (green checkmark)
5. Click share icon → Add your friend

That's it! Your friend can now host your Alchemy Factory save.
How Your Friend Accesses the Save
1. Open SaveSync
2. Find the shared Alchemy Factory save
3. Click "Activate"

4. Launch Alchemy Factory and play!
How It Actually Works
Your Alchemy Factory save is just a folder sitting somewhere on your computer. Normally, if you wanted your friend to continue your game, you'd have to find that folder, zip it up, send it over Discord or email, then your friend would have to figure out where to put it on their computer. And you'd do this back and forth every single time you play. That's the pain.

SaveSync does all of that automatically. When you share a save, it copies your save folder to the cloud. When your friend clicks "Activate," it downloads that folder and puts it in the exact right spot on their computer -- the same place their game expects to find saves. No hunting for folders, no manual file transfers, no "wait, where do I paste this?" The game just sees the save and loads it like normal.

Important: SaveSync only works when Alchemy Factory is not running.
