As for the animal-ear hairstyles appearing slightly darker, the animal-ear hairstyles have differences in color brightness. As far as I know, this is an unavoidable issue that occurs when trying to implement those color differences due to the way Kenshi's system handles them.
The colors of several animal-ear hairstyles always come out much duller for some reason. I'm not sure why.
VRoid Body outfits are only compatible with VRoid Body characters, while Vanilla Body outfits are intended for existing Kenshi characters and outfits.
The two body types are visually distinct, so you should be able to identify which variant your character uses by comparing their body models.
I've encountered compatibility issues with some characters from VRoid Race or VRoid Race Face.
Is it possible to check which models are experiencing this problem and which ones are fully compatible with the clothing?
