ℹ Mulderland's Enhancement Pack

This is an automated, open-source installer based on NSIS.

It includes everything needed to work in modern systems and modern resolutions, to provide the best experience:

• Automatic downgrade from v1.02 (if detected) to v1.01 (GOG, uncensored)
  
• dgVoodoo2 (latest, or v2.81.3 if you're on Linux)
  
• nemesis2000's Widescreen Fix (It fixes FOV)
  
• controller support.
  
• (optional) translation patches for French, German, Italian and Spanish.
  
• MulderConfig, to configure Widescreen Resolution, Borderless, UI Scaling, Controller....

ℹ Why should you downgrade to 1.01

The v1.02 version (some Retail re-releases and Steam) has some changes to the Gurdwara levels; removed certain lines of dialogue related to Sikh and Gurdwara mentions, alcohol references, graphics and model changes as well as minor changes to certain disguises.

1.01 Version Steam Downgrade
Restores the original dialogue, models, graphics and behavior in the following Gurdwara missions: Temple City Ambush, The Death of Hannelore and Terminal Hospitality in the Steam version.

ℹ Installation

1. Go to Mulderland Website: https://www.mulderland.com/games/hitman-2-silent-assassin


2. Download ''hitman-2-silent-assassin-enhancement-pack.exe''

3. Launch it from your download location (if you have a problem here, read https://www.mulderland.com/help )

4. You should see this :


5. Click Next, the installer will ask you to locate your "hitman2.exe"



6. Click Next and you can now choose what to install. You probably want the default. You can also choose one language patch (if you want to play in English, don't tick any language patch).


7. Press Install

8. At the end, the installers will propose to open a README and to run MulderConfig. You probably want, at least, to run MulderConfig - it gives the following options:


Be sure to click on both buttons :
"Save Config" saves the configuration inside MulderConfig
"Apply" apply your preferences into the game / fixes files.

9. It's done - you can launch and enjoy your game.

ℹ Custom Resolution / Custom UI Scaling

If your resolution is not listed in MulderConfig, you can select "Other" (so that MulderConfig won't touch resolution settings when you Apply) and manually choose a resolution :

- No need to edit hitman2.ini at all
- Edit the file scripts\h2.ini

If you want "UI Scaling x2", select that in MulderConfig, and in the file scripts\h2.ini, divide the Height and Width values by 2.

ℹ Troubleshoot / FAQ

1) MulderConfig does not run.

This is probably because you don't have "Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8" installed (and you haven't checked it during the install).

2) How to run again MulderConfig ?

MulderConfig is located in the game folder installation.
In Steam, right click on "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" > Manage > Browse Local Files, and you will find it.


3) Where is the README ?

It is located in a "@mulderload" subfolder of the game folder installation.
In Steam, right click on "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" > Manage > Browse Local Files, and then open the "@mulderload" folder.


4) I have another problem

Please, read the README first :)

Amazing pack, thank you very much. Is it possible to make it work with Ukrainian translation (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3405684708) . Because when I try to open the game after istalling translatin - game just crashes after intro movies

@MK_KITTI: I found a fix, I'll update the Enhancement Pack tomorrow.

You can already fix it by editing the scripts\h2.ini file and set
LOD_Distance_Multiplier = 1.0
Draw_Distance = 1.2
(Yes, that's the default values).

Curiously I don't see graphical differences.

But Kirov Park Meeting works, even with FOV_Multiplier at 1.20.
