Description
After iterating through nearly a thousand internal versions, we’ve finally decided to officially upload the Escape From Duckov co-op / multiplayer mod.
There are still plenty of bugs, but we’ll keep updating and fixing them. Please be patient with us…
Thank you all for your support and understanding!

Before reporting a bug, please first rule out issues caused by other mods, mismatched co-op mod versions between players, and problems with your save file.
Many of the bugs being reported never appeared at all during internal testing.

Beta 1.1 stable has been officially released, marking the start of our march toward a full release of the co-op mod.
In Beta 1.0, we fixed almost all of 1.5’s bugs and a lot of older legacy issues.

Known issues

In the Lab, clients need to go up and down the stairs twice before they can see the boss.

For high-latency players, after killing an AI and opening its loot container, there is a chance that the search completes instantly (“instant search”), although the container itself is functioning normally.

When a client enters certain additional/sub scenes, the host may sometimes not see that client’s equipment. Entering another scene restores things to normal.

Beta 1.1 Changelog Preview
1. Loot / Treasure System Refactor

Reworked the logic for syncing items and their positions inside containers
(now uses local resolution + reporting instead of downloading full snapshots).

Reworked the logic and network sync for dropped items.

Reworked item exchange synchronization.

Added a resource configuration system (loot multiplier, loot quality, etc.).

Added separate handling for quest items and quest containers (clients can now complete quests).

2. AI System Optimization & Additions

Added UI settings for AI sync distance.

Added more AI difficulty-related settings (AI base stats, HP, etc.).

Added handling for AI spawning under high latency and packet loss.

Further optimized the AI spawning system.

3. UI Updates

Added a Settings UI (resource settings, AI settings, co-op settings, optimization settings, etc.).

Added a player damage leaderboard
(so you can see which little cutie is AFK—press the minus - key to hide/show it).

Added a map loading screen again (this was present in version A1.5 and has now been re-added).

4. Other Updates

Added a public networking API for the co-op mod [Beta]
(with automatic queue handling, packet loss handling, and various small optimizations).

Added some public co-op mod APIs and event listeners [Beta].

6. Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where exiting the cellar would send you to the small house.

Fixed the Lab power switch / breaker issue.

Fixed a potential “ghost” enemy issue.

Fixed the issue where clients sometimes didn’t need to search containers.

Fixed the infinite bullet disassembly bug on clients.

Fixed issues with discarding and using items in containers on clients.

Fixed melee damage being too high for clients.

Fixed client buff issues.

Fixed the issue where clients couldn’t run back to their corpse after death.

Plus other fixes that we’ve already forgotten…

Beta 1.1.5 Update Content

- Added display of player location on the map
- Added display of Steam names in the player list
- Removed damage rankings

- Added streamer mode (hides IP display)

Beta 1.2 Update Details
Version Overview: This version features significant improvements in frame rate and network performance; most tasks are now playable.

Beta 1.2.1 Update Notes
1.UI
-Added a streamer mode option to hide IP addresses during voting.
-Added an option to teleport everyone to the same location (Host only).

2.Bug Fixes
-First attempt at fixing kill quest tracking. Interestingly, one known way kills may be shared right now is: each player must meet the quest requirement and land at least one shot on the target AI. This records that player as the “last-hit” damage entry, and when another player gets the kill, it will often trigger shared kill credit.

-Fixed some audio issues (excluding the kazoo).

i just saw previous comments about it, so yeah, now the only major issues are enemy position ghosting (model and where i'm being shot from not lining up in the slightest as non-host) and i believe the loot issue was because i was on a different map technically the loot was on a different elevation from me, so i couldn't see it.
