Description
Ladies and gentlemen, allow us to present to you Enhanced Particles, a modification offering a cinematic experience ín Total War: Rome II battles.

Although simple by its nature, Enhanced Particles offers far more dynamic and, dare we say, exciting battlefields. Enjoy every battlefield the way it should be enjoyed - truly atmospheric and visually pleasing!

In order to play & Download

Following the latest patch for Rome II, steam articles in movie format (such as this mod) will see their format, essential to spectate the effects, terminated. Therefore, the mod can only be played through a separate download. The download link can be found on Total War Center. An alternative download link to the mod is also available.

Enhanced Particles on TWC[www.twcenter.net]

{LINK REMOVED} (I don't want to go via TWC!)

Note that in order for the volumetric dust to be visible, the particle effects setting must be set to very high or above.

Performance

Enhanced Particles does not significantly impair performance. The dust is made up of low density particles and transparent enough for you to be able to zoom in closely without a significant performance drop. In order to see the particle effects, the corresponding graphical setting must be set to Very High or Extreme.

We wish you a great experience with the mod. Thanks for bearing with us in anticipation for the fixing update. Kind regards, the team behind Ancient Empires[www.twcenter.net]

We would also like to offer special thanks to Demokritos and The Germans are coming for helping out with testing and feedback in the early days of the modification.

Note that some images are taken by users and include features from other mods as well, such as DeI and GEM.

Special thanks to Rohirrim's computer which demonstrated its extreme limits in running this mod.

Mother of christ, it's so simple...Thanks all. Is there a dust mod for Attila?

I FIGURED IT OUT.

There is a new option in the menu under settings called "Mods". Click on it, and tick the first box to enable movie packs, then restart your game. I have no idea when this option came out, but it seems by default it is unticked, so movie packs do not run automatically as before.

I did. That's the version I always used. I also tried changing the pack file downloaded from steam into a movie file. When I have time I'll go to my last resort by completely reinstalling the game.

@Deadly - did you download it from TWC? I can verify that the Steam version hasn't worked since patch 18. The TWC should still be working excellent

It'd be nice if someone (preferably the mod creators) can confirm the mod is still working. I still have this feeling that it's just me. Battles feel weird without the particle effects anymore.
