Active Threat Interception System

Description
Active Threat Interception System (ATIS)

The Active Threat Interception System (ATIS) is a lightweight defensive script that provides advanced, automated protection for vehicles. It detects and intercepts incoming rockets, missiles, and HEAT projectiles in real time — offering a reliable, configurable, and performance-friendly defense layer for armored units.

Features

Core Functionality
— Lightweight and optimized script with minimal performance impact
— Detects and intercepts rockets, missiles, and HEAT projectiles in real-time
— Realistic speed gating: Intercepts projectiles traveling up to 1,000 m/s
— Engine requirement: APS only functions when vehicle engine is running (configurable)
— AI reaction system: AI crews properly respond to threats even when projectiles are intercepted

Configuration System
— Fully configurable through CBA Addon Options
— Per-vehicle configuration: Set unique APS parameters for each vehicle class or use global defaults
— Vehicle selection dropdown: Choose "ALL VEHICLES" for global settings or select individual vehicle classes
— Easily add or remove protected vehicles via classname list
— All settings update dynamically without mission restart

Customizable Parameters
— Detection range: Configure how far the APS scans for threats (50-1000m)
— Intercept range: Set the effective engagement distance (5-100m)
— Reload time: Adjust seconds between individual intercepts (1-30s)
— Charge system: Define how many countermeasures available before reloading (1-12)
— Reload system: Set reload duration (10-300s) and total reloads (-1 for infinite)
— Failure chance: Add realistic probability (0-100%) for intercept failures
— Ignored ammo list: Exclude specific ammunition types from interception
— Optional debug mode: Toggle system messages for testing and balancing

Per-Vehicle Configuration Examples
Configure each vehicle class with realistic APS parameters:
— Trophy APS: 30m intercept, 4 charges, 8% failure rate
— Arena APS: 50m intercept, 6 charges, 10% failure rate
— Iron Fist APS: 25m intercept, 8 charges, 5% failure rate
— Or set your own custom parameters for any vehicle

Just a quick note... ATIS doesn't works with Arma 3 performance/profiling build. Also I don't see ATIS in Addon settings. Is possible make a compatible version with profiling build?

@ThomasZA You’re putting them in the allowed class name list right? And you have the engine running?

I've also tested it on the AAV-9 Mack, the Gyra, and the Hunter FSV, in which they had the same problem as the Marshall APC, the APS see's it and engades but doesn't seem to hit the Rocket/Missile

Hi again, I've done some testing and found the reason, I was trying to use Quiggs's AMV-7 Marshall APC, as when I try debug mode I can see it engading but the rocket still hits, with the Vanilla AMV-7 IFV it works perfectly

@HappyRooster007 Yeah, I had another report of another user getting the exact same error. I’m at work currently, but when I get home tonight, I’ll take a look. Bugs would be better reported on the discord, so be sure to join that

@ThomasZA Tested with unguided rockets and it worked fine for me. Check to make sure you dont have it in the ignore list

@ThomasZA turn on debug mode and try again. Could also be something slipped through after the most recent update. I tested with a base CSAT AT soldier and it intercepted just fine. I’m currently at work, so, I’ll take a look tonight when I get home
