💾 Installation (Clean Setup Required)

⚠️ Merchant Island must be run once on a clean Project Zomboid Build 41 install. All Workshop mods need to be unsubscribed first. Steps:
❌ Unsubscribe from ALL Workshop mods.
✅ Subscribe only to: Merchant Island Dependencies (Steam will auto-sub them).
🟢 Enable all mods.
🔀 Set the load order BEFORE launching the game – Islandblends must take higher priority than trimble (check screenshot in the slideshow for correct setup).
🎯 Choose World 1 and only use Muldraugh or modded maps for spawn (Rosewood, Westpoint, and Riverside do not work — update coming soon).
▶️ Run the game once with ONLY this setup.
📝 Start a new game so the map generates properly.
❌ Close the game.
🎉 Now you may re-subscribe and enable other mods.

Is there a interactive map for this mod? i know its a bunch of vanilla city mashed in closer together but there are new towns and places that im not familiar with and would like to see a overview layout.

@tanimal We have noticed it in a lot of military locations as well as specifically the lockers in some of the gun shops. I will try to get a list of more specific locations for you if that will help narrow it down! Thank you for asking them for me

@Tactical Hobbit I asked the Staff at deadline if they have had the same issue and this is the response they gave me, hope this helps! Not that we're aware, they have been getting some errors on lootzed for some containers (seeing Spawn rate %) but debug/adminrefill container its working, one of the staff members thinks you may have a bad mod loot distribution (adding non existent items). but it well could also be the map, but without knowing what buildings this is happening in its hard to say.

We have been finding a lot of boxes and containers on the map that we are not able to admin fill (By using the right click -> refill option). They act like they were player built even though they aren't and are just part of preexisting buildings. Is this possibly a issue with the map? We are trying to narrow down whats causing it!

@Tanimal Thank you for the reply, I actually meant to delete my comment lol It turns out guns of 93 just does not want to work with out mod list no matter what we do, we swapped gun mods and now its fine.

We have found some boxes that for some reason spawn empty and we cant seem to refill with the admin refill but thats minor at this ponit lol
