Akimbot: Getting 100% Achievements

Explaining specific action achievements and giving a few tips how to get other trophies

Things to know before you start:
1) Yes - you can replay any chapter and any checkpoint!

2) No - nothing is missable! No broken/bugged achievements either.
3) Difficulty doesn't affect your playthrough.

Story Achievements

These will unlock naturally.
"Arrive here, discover this, beat him, escape there, find blah-blah-blah":

Specific Actions

BAD BUZZ IS STILL BUZZ
Kill 10 inhabitants who didn’t ask for anything without dying.
(kill 10 friendly bots in the first level)

MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR
Take the DJ's spot. (Kill a DJ, also in the first level)


Ah-ha, these guys:


YOU SHALL NOT PASS
Do not let any spaceship cross when using the Anti-Aircraft Artillery.
(You'll be protecting a beach and shooting spaceships. Destroy them all!)



FIGHTER OF THE STREET
Kill the 2D driller bot without taking a hit.
(Jump over and attack twice only after its tornado phase, then back off and repeat)



SUBWAY SHIPSET
Make a flawless run with Shipset.
(Don't run into barriers or obstacles)

JURASSIC SPARK
Take down every Praetor while riding the T-Rex.


Have fun and don't miss!


PNEUMATIC PRESS
Crush a Praetor with the buggy.
(You'll have multiple opportunities to crush an enemy while driving)



THE FLOOR IS LAVA
Die from lava.
(When you reach lava level... jump into lava, d'oh)

MICHAEL BOT
Make 20 mines explode without dying.
(Just shoot them from distance, easy)

SPLINTER CHIPS
Never get spotted by the Praetors.
(Watch the Rex head turns and don't rush, obviously avoid red light!)



RESIDENT PRAETOR
Cross through the lasers without taking damage.

BOMBERBOT
Clear the caves from all bomb traps without dying.


Should unlock somewhere in this area:


GOTTA GO FAST
Reach the extraction point without taking a hit.


A tricky one as you must hurry and be careful at the same time. I equipped the shielded Nano gun just in case. I definitely touched water once, but it seems the damage didn't occur.
Here's my run:

KING OF THE KILL
Crush 15 enemies while controlling the tank without dying.
(Take out big tanks first, then roll over those tiny soldiers)



ANIMAL CROSSFIT
Cross without letting the giant cat see you move.
(Stop moving before the forth line lights up)


DO A DOUBLE BARREL ROLL!
Do two turns at once while riding a candy cart.
(You'll have plenty of time to do the roll, either in the beginning or very end of the tunnel)



VERY BAD JAMES BOT
Cut a wrong wire.
(Ignore the instructions and cut a wrong wire!)

HEDGEHOG LOVER
Cross through all the rings while riding the rocket.
(Nothing challenging here, just fly into all the rings)



YOU CAN’T SEE ME
Take down a camera before it spots you.
(Those are tiny dark devices, wall mounted. Trigger one, memorize where it's planted, restart the checkpoint and then just pre-fire there before it goes red)


NEED FOR CLEANLINESS
Prevent the buggy from riding in a mud puddle.
(Avoid green puddles)



MR.ROBOT
Do not fail any hack during the elevator sequence.
(You'll have to do several mini-games w/o a single fail. Good luck!)

Collectibles and Other

CAPITALIST TRAP
Obtain your first special weapon.


MONEY LAUNDERING
Max out one special weapon.
(Focus on one weapon, as you cannot max out everything)

DR. JONES
Find your first Lost Data.




Lost data emits sound when you're close. There's a list in the main menu what you have found so far. 33 in total to search and collect. Don't worry if you missed some - you can always return to a chapter. BUT! You then must trigger a saving point for the log to remain in your discovered.

THAT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM
Find all Lost Data in a single level.
(You'll probably will get it in the first level)

Find all Lost Data.


A ROBBERY ODYSSEY
Break 75% of the galaxy’s botcoin crates.


Check every corner, you can shoot crates/barrels/boxes (yes, these come in various shapes!) from afar.
There's a lot of them hidden in that rainbow level and you're likely to skip a decent chunk during timed extractions. Bear that in mind and prepare for quick destruction.

PLATIBOT
Unlock all achievements.

I also used chapter select for it, ran right to DJ and before killing him noticed the popup so tried clicking select and started dancing so figured that was what was missing, killed him and clicked select when standing up there and then it unlocked for me.
so might be bugged on first run and then takes a bit to trigger.

I danced on my first playthrough next to him and on the dance floor, but the achievement didn't trigger. When I started jumping chapters to clear out remaining achievements, this time I killed the crowd (for another trophy) and then killed the DJ - then the achievement popped instantly.

Might just be a bit bugged then, thought the description might have missed some details (as it only unlocked once i clicked to dance up there for me).
As it specified to take it's spot and not just kill him.

Mine unlocked w/o dancing, so ¯_(ツ)_¯

That wasn't enough for it to unlock, i did that for both times it shows up and stood on the platform without it unlocking.
Only unlocked when i went back again and this time activated dance (as there was a popup that showed how to dance)

Hollowriller, I literally highlighted the DJ and wrote to kill him.

For "Murder on the Dancefloor" you only need to kill the bot on top of the speakers and on controller click select to dance while standing where DJ stood. (same for keyboard but don't know the button)
