[ECI] Clang Crane Warehouse with T.E.D. from Martian Engineering

Description
I finally uploaded the Bridge Crane Warehouse from my Martian Engineering YouTube series! I was even able to make some improvements along the way.

Klang Crane
Of course, the main feature of the warehouse is the bridge crane! It is fully automated to load and unload the Custom Shipping Containers from the warehouse stacks to the bed of a [ECI] HEMTT. It utilizes only vanilla controls, no scripts! Just a bunch of timers, event controllers, sensors, and buttons.

T.E.D. Tool Exchange Device
The roof of the warehouse also houses the hangar bay for the [ECI] Lobster Welder with T.E.D. the Tool Exchange Device. The system will exchange welder and grinder arms with a single button press. (Lobster and spare tool arms not included)

Features
  • Automated bridge crane to load and unload containers
  • A HEMTT parked outside Bay A, ready to be loaded. (some disassembly required, check for user's manual in the cab)
  • Docking clamps in each bay to perfectly align the HEMTT for loading and unloading.
  • 5 unique custom shipping containers to start your warehouse collection
  • Control room with custom crane automation control panel & status indicator wall.
  • Manual control cockpit on the ceiling with automatic disabling of the automated controls.
  • Clang Krane Brain in the basement with detailed labels for each automation step.
  • T.E.D. Tool Exchange Device
  • Solar panels on the roof with more batteries than this base will ever need.
  • Tunnel access doors to connect to the rest of your Martian base collection.
  • Action relayed garage doors to open straight from the HEMTT's cabs.
  • AND MORE!

How in the... did you do this?

Known Issues
  • The truck clamps and the HEMTT can get stuck if the building is pasted too low into voxels. Paste higher, dig out prior, or cut and copy the HEMTT to get it moving again.
  • I have not adjusted any torques or impulses for the hinges and pistons, so you may need to make your own adjustments for loads and different gravity
  • When disconnecting the truck after loading it wants to flip. This is from the connector and rotor both connecting. I have fixed the latest version, but to fix yourself:
    • Open Actions for [HEMTT] Event Controller - Bottom Connector It is hidden so use the filter
    • Remove Connector - Bed - LOCK from false action on page 2
    • Now when diconnecting from the base, only the hooklift piston will attach allowing for better alignment. You can manually lock/unlock the connector.

Sorry double post... What I see happening is after the pistons extend, the main crane bounces back and it starts to collapse the long pistons backwards at the center hinge. I am going to try to add a lockout for the hinge, but this is a pretty complicated set up. I might just brick it..lol

Love this and the series, been having a blast running this. I do have an issue going past stack 3. When the long pistons rotate to 90deg, they dont extend and have a tendency to start rotating at the middle joint back inwards. 1-3 works flawlessly. Any idea where I might need to check?

Enjoying the series and building one of these in my current survival game as well with some modifications. Mainly eliminating as many pistons as possible as well as all instances of piston stacking. I will also have all 3 truck bays plumbed so that the trucks can receive Hydrogen, Oxygen and Ice when parked.

I love your YouTube series. Big fan of all your work!

I saw clang, and well I had to look haha. We need a counter on the main menu for the shear number of contraptions that detonated or self yeeted into oblivion.

I love how clang/klang has become so embedded into the culture of Space Engineers, lol.

For anyone who encounters this issue. When i connected this to my base i kept getting the pickup error. found out that when i connected it to my base, it for some reason removed all the four mag plates from the selected blocks in both lift detection controllers. Also Lift Pistons missing from unload complete controller, just add them back and it works as it should. Not sure why connecting to my base caused this to happen but this should fix it.

Dude! Your Martian series is a fantastic collection of engineering marvels. I have really enjoyed. Going back over my favorite episodes now. Thanks for sharing you blueprints.
