Useful tips and commands for Nazi Zombies / Coop in CoD 5 WaW
By B.A.S.E. Diraxel
Commands that I think are extremely useful and will make you a savvy host ;)
Edit: Apologies this is indeed for CoD5WaW and not BO1 (when I made this guide, this was just for some friends). I have a box disc retail version of CoD5WaW (as opposed to a Steam version), so Steam won't let me post under the CoD5WaW hub.

1. Commands
There are a LOT more codes but I just want to share what I think are the most useful.
The console need to be enabled in the options (main menu > Options & Controls > Game Options > Enable Console > Yes)
Depending on your keyboard, press ` or ² or ~, it's usually the key on top left of your keyboard, under Esc
Then type the command

* Kick a player in game:
\kick name

* Make the messages from dead players visible to living players (only affect messages, not voice chat):
\g_deadchat 1

* Bindings
In order to automatically type a message, like "Reload now, Max Ammo!" or "keep some crawlers pls":
\bind p say reload
then hitting P will display "reload"

to undo:
\unbind p

* Add colors to your messages, press "^" (without quotes) and a digit
^1 red
^2 green
^3 yellow
etc

* "Pausing" the game in coop and / or keeping an AFK player safe:
just tamper with the gravity to get off the map: set low gravity (g_gravity) and jump, I suggest for example behind the power on Der Riese, perfect and safe.
Example of a value to jump high (beware zombies will also start to fly if you keep that code on for a too long time):
\g_gravity 5

set gravity back to default to get back on the ground:
\g_gravity 800

* Reviving
A code to prevent downed players from dying for up to 5 mn (the higher the value, the higher the length of time, default being 30):
\player_lastStandBleedoutTime 250

Revive from far away distances:
\revive_trigger_radius 99999

Gain more points when reviving a team mate:
\player_reviveXP 50

Shoot to revive (same as the Death Card)
\collectible_add collectible_morphine

Remove shoot to revive:
\collectible_remove collectible_morphine

* A mode that shows the number of kills assisted (like in coop campaign) and give more points when reviving someone (may be turned back off by typing 0 instead of 1):
\Arcademode 1

* Points
if you need points, just switch the arcademode on, and use these codes (switch it back off if you wish with the value 0):
Get points by reviving a team mate:
\arcademode_score_revive 100000

Get points by assisting a team mate in killing a zombie:
\arcademode_score_assist 1000

* Among other classic codes that you may like:
- run faster:
\g_speed

- infinite ammo:
\sf_use_ignoreammo 1
2. About the teleporter glitch
Many people complain about the teleporter not working. My opinion is this is not a bug: the developers are penalizing players who abuse the teleporter and / or wait too much for teleporting, a bit like the Wunder Waffe which zapps the Juggernog. These penalties have been made more obvious later, e.g. on Mob of the Dead where abusing the Mistery Box will often spawn a Brutus.
The workaround I've come up with is not to wait at all and to teleport very early: as soon as a zombie gets close to the teleporter. For example when a zombie gets his feet on the first step of the stairs leading to the teleporter C. Be extra careful about zombies coming from the tunnel on the left as they come fast from there!
Simple but that's the rule of thumb: no wait. So excellent teamwork is much expected since some players may be left behind if they spend too much time shooting instead of catching up with his mates. Or they will make the teleporter bug - I definitely believe even later in the game - if zombies overwhelm the teleporter while his mates are waiting. Also excellent teamwork since the richest player should pay for the teleporter. I've been to round 58 while abiding by this rule (and we died because of a mistake of mine, not a glitch)...
As odd as it may sound, I believe firmly that the hell hounds coming in the teleporter do not trigger the glitch.
You may have a look on this video as an example where I went to round 51 with a friend, using the teleporter strategy successfully, then my friend lost his connectiion:

3. The 3 gun glitch
There are several ways to get more than 2 weapons.
The way I use is as follows: you need to have one betty, and at least and 5200 points
- upgrade a weapon in the pack a punch (you then carry only 1 weapon)
- run to buy the Gewehr 43 (600 points) or the Kar98K (200 points) > now 2 weapons
- run back to the pack a punch
- hit 6 to make the betty pop out
- as late as possible, but BEFORE the betty pops out, hit F to trade
If you trade too early, you will end with 2 weapons, nothing happens.
If you trade too late, the upgraded weapon will still be in the pap because you can't trade a betty for a gun. Retry.
You should have enough time for 2-3 tries.

On my video, it took me 3 tries to get it:
http://youtu.be/BHkTVsf364I

Beware you may upgrade no more than 2 weapons and have a 3rd normal weapon. When you upgrade for the 2nd time, you must repeat the process! (so learn to do it with the appropriate weapons if you don't want to find yourself again with the Gewehr 43 or Kar98K)

Beware also that some people consider this cheating and will freak out...

To my experience, it does not work 100%. Like 1 out of 10 times, I do it as it should be done and I can't get the upgraded weapon. This is all the more tricky if your ping is high...

What I think is confusing are the videos on YouTube: they are mostly done by console players who trade the weapon AFTER the betty has popped out, which does not work on PC, at least to my experience.
You just need to catch the right timing. Beware that this timing changes according to the weapon you're carrying. If you find it too tricky, just go solo, activate some cheats to save time, have enough points, activate the teleporters with noclip etc. and train until you get the right timing.

There are more ways to get 3 guns but I'm not knowledgeable in these. I heard there's a way with the Speed Cola. I saw a trick on consoles with the Mistery Box but I don't know if it works on PC. Last but not least, I saw a player have something like 10 guns, yes, 10 guns, and I don't believe he could hack since I was the host. He didn't use the Mistery Box either since this glitch requires the help of another player and he did not. I asked him but he did not speak English so could not explain to me. Anyway, 3 guns are already "borderline" to me, though there is Mule Kick on the Black Ops version of Der Riese. So no big deal for me, apart the curiosity.
4. Death Cards on zombies (if DC are unlocked, that is)
Open a server, change it to zombies with the map you wish, then go back in options and change it back to campaign, but then, go in Game Mode Settings > Death Cards Cheats > Enabled
then select your cheats, and click on back (not ok), you'll find your zombies server with the DC.
Beware that if the host dies, all cheats disappear (may go down and be revived, but not die)

However, you should be able to turn the following 3 Death Cards back on with the following codes:
\collectible_add collectible_paintball - Bullets are Paintballs
\collectible_add collectible_morphine - Shoot to Revive
\collectible_add collectible_dirtyharry - Explosive Colt While Down
\collectible_remove collectible_paintball - paintball off
\collectible_remove collectible_morphine - shoot revive off
\collectible_remove collectible_dirtyharry - Regular Colt While Down

posted under BO, not WaW because my CoD 5 WaW is a retail disc version instead of a Steam version
