You should add more ways to lose affection as well, otherwise a good player will only get more powerful.
Suggestions:
Kill a civilian: -15 to every soldier who participated. (there is a mod that affects will if you kill civs)
A civilian dies: -2 to every soldier who participated. (example: like in retaliation missions)
Advent extracts supplies: -1 to every soldier for every supply box that Advent manages to extract.
Ruler escaped: -3 to every soldier who participated.
Destroyed Loot: -5 to the soldier that destroyed the loot.
Gets panicked: -1 to the soldier that got himself panicked.
Gets dominated: -3 to the soldier that got dominated by the enemy.
Soldier doesn't score a kill: -2 to the soldier that didn't score a kill during the mission.
Also, a minor bug: If you go to the living quarters, and click engineers or scientists, and then click back to soldiers, the chat buttons have disappeared (you have to back out and click 'personnel' again to get them back).
I tend to build up an actual personality for them based off their backstory and actions in game. So it'd be great to be able to set the personality perks to ones that make sense
