8Z's Darktide Dodge System

Description
A lightweight dodge system inspired by Warhammer 40k: Darktide, giving you brief invulnerability and allowing you to slide afterwards. Just press space - no binds or extra content required!

How to Use
Press the jump button to dodge. You must be on the ground and moving sideways or backwards (not forwards!). This behaves like a sidestep or dash, quickly moving you in the direction while providing you brief invulnerability against damage.

Press the crouch button during a dodge or while sprinting to enter a slide. Sliding carries you a short distance while giving you a chance to evade bullet damage.

Dodging and sliding both consume your dodge meter. If you run out, your dodges and slides will become less effective and provide no invulnerability. Stop dodging or sliding for a moment for it to recover.

Many details about the addon can be configured in Utilities -> 8Z's Dodge System.

Type find 8z_dodge in console to find all serverside ConVars, or find cl_8z_dodge for clientside ConVars.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best of your life. TIC TOC

wish someone added a SWEP so we can use all the weapons in the game and to add enemies from darktide

@NerdCuddles Hold Q to open the spawnmenu. On the top right, click "Utilities".
@Gorigo correct, but I was playing a lot of Darktide so that's what i used as my reference.
