Arenaverse TCG (Prototype)

Description
Arenaverse is prototype TCG about multiversal champions competing to not only see which realm has the best combatants, but also provide a fun viewing experience for the viewers at home.

The current content contains 3 starter decks. These have been designed in such a way that the 3 colours, Red, Green and Blue have their own themes, while colourless is utility in all deck types. The early cards have been designed to give an early YGO feel, with little effect cards, but the ones that do have effects, make a great impact on the gameplay.

Future updates will see more effect cards, two more colours, more champions to test, a booster set, and a draft format.
Everything is in the prototype phase right now so names, numbers and effects are subject to change.

Designed to be played 1v1 or multiplayer.
MTG Inspirations - Commander format, resources (Lands)
Card types inspired by MTG and YGO

You can find all the rules to play in both the rules section for the table, and summarised between 2 handy rules/tips cards.

TCG Theme/Story:
The greatest mind in human engineering successfully opened a portal to three peaceful worlds. Upon which a tournament was put together to provide multiversal entertainment to the masses. With each world putting forward its strongest inhabitants as representative champions, which world/s will stand out most, get the crowd roaring loudest, and take home the grand prize.

Due to the game having a multiverse setting, the character designs and themes do not have to match up outside of their respective sets. There will be simple story elements in flavour text to tell the overarching story of universes discovered and the journeys within them.

Play:
Each player has 3 champion cards, these start on the field. The aim is to knock out the opponents champions and claim victory.
- Deck contains 40 cards minimum.
- use energy cells to generate a source to play cards
- enhance champions with enhance cards (genes and equipment)
- up to 3 enhance cards can be attached at one time, player can destroy an enhance card to attach a new one once they have hit the limit.
- utilize skill cards:
Skill - pay the cost to do the effect, can only be used during an action phase.
Speed Skill - pay the cost to do the effect, can be used on the opponents turn.
Trap Skill - pay the cost to play face down, can be turned over for free during any players, but only if condition is met. Only 3 can be placed at a time
- Utilizes the stack. First in last out.
