Release date: TBA
Haures is a indie video game currently in alpha testing that is a Co-Op, DK2 Oculus Enabled, Survival Horror Maze Game created in Unreal Engine 4 that can be played with or without the Oculus.

Both myself and my Co-Developer at MeowzieGames are intensely focused on the multiplayer Co-Op aspect of the game. Having perception altering experiences and giving players real choice with their friends that will be new and interactive in the multiplayer/co-op genre is what we are aiming for; Where you can accidentaly or not horrificly sacrifice friends and use all sort's of unusual tactics through the maze that we are enjoying in alpha testing currently(If you can use the word in a horror game) is really where we hope to innovate with this title. And yes we are being stingy at this moment with showing some of it, as we really want to save the best for last or when players can experience it themselves further in development :)

You and your friends are lost occult confessor's with their haphazardly functioning torch's, confused and rummaging through the visage of a demon's nightmarish labyrinth. Your mind's will struggle to find Solomon's keys and end the possession you are all now enthralled in. You and your friends will never be the same as your senses are distorted, defrauded and tormented as you unravel the mystery's of the labyrinth's and rectify your blighted situation.

Quite simply, if you cannot stand the torment. What better way to enjoy yourself than listening or watching the misery, screams and fear of your friends! :)

Work as a team and survive!

-Play with or without the Oculus: It's not a requirement. We do not want people to be limited by a lack thereof a Oculus from their friends, but it is immersive and HIGHLY recommended considering we developed the game with this in mind Video footage above.

-Single Player: Single player is quite challenging, without your friends for backup expect to be more stealth and strategy based playing using the envioroment to your favor. We do not have a casual system(♥♥♥♥♥ Mode) in the game, there is only one mode: Horrific, #DealWithIt

-(Co-Op)Co-Operative/Multiplayer Gameplay through P2P connection(Ideally 4 Players): We are still experimenting with the amount of player's and packet loss, there is no real limit on how many players that could join in and aid you except a technical limit as instability becomes a factor. We will let players decide for themselves if we should limit or expand on this freedom in the future.

-DK2(development kit 2) Oculus Support: Completely Direct-to-Rift! Or expanded mode, any mode you like with Unreal Engine 4. It's absolutely no hastle.

-Randomly Generated Maps: Every time you start a new game or reload the map, completely new layout from start to finish. Always a new challenge.

-Random Starting Points: This apply's to both you and your group, as a whole. No need to search a giant map for your friends just to start playing, though we may add that functionality later on if players tell us thats what they want *Thumbs Up*

-Selectable Maze Environments: From the main menu you can chose your starting map theme :)

-Languages: At this moment there is only english, but in time and with translators we hope to have as many core languages as possible implemented! But that is way down the development track.

*More features to be announced later in development and with community feedback*

Note from developer:

"MeowzieGames is quite honestly just myself and only 1 other developer. A two man team is very small for the work we have cut out for us on this title, yet we have hope that with your support, votes, favorites and all that good stuff etc. That we can get Haures to Greenlit status....But wait! It's not that easy!

We absolutely need you guys sharing this page with your friends or anywhere that you can to get the word out, otherwise Greenlight will crush us and this project like many, many other Greenlight hopefulls....WE NEED MORE CO-OP GAMES!(As a gamer, this is my ultimate frustration)... Then we can really get more team/staff members onboard and mould this into something bigger and better than even we envisage with your help and suggestions.

This is the only way my fellow PC master race gamers or this just isn't going to happen!

(Hear my plea's O' gaming gods!)"

Honestly the only complaint I have is that you're using the name and sigil of a demon from the goetia. Like thats some medieval copyright infringement right there guys, be a little more respectful, come on.

it's a nice game and everything, any bugs that might be there actually make it scarier for me. I remember playing with Wartz and friends, and I had the demon running in place until i walked up to it. Then it turned to me and disappeared. We all died shortly after, but it was fun~! Definitely voting for it!

Just played the Alpha test with one of the devs and some friends earlier tonight. Creepy, fun game. Excellent atmosphere. Definitely good for some scares/laughs.
