Ena
Ena is the main protagonist of Ena Dream Bbq, she is the 2nd version of the Ena from the youtube series. She speaks English.




Ena's split face design is inspired by a painting called "Girl Before A Mirror" by Pablo Picasso.




Her clothing design is inspired by the character Noppo which is a character from a Japanese show called "Dekirukana" (Noppo is the human in the picture below).




It is speculated that Ena is a soldier because of the hat she wears and a scene that happens when you talk to the Vending Machine (the gumball machine looking guy).



Froggy
Froggy is the first character that you meet. He speaks Japanese. He can only be found in the Hub area. He is self confident and acts as a foil (A character that contrasts with the protagonist, to highlight the protagonist's traits.)




He is inspired by the character Gonta from the Japanese show called "Dekirukana" (Gonta is the non-human thing in the picture below).




He looks a lot like the character Tsubakura Enraku from the game series "Len'en Project", this may just be a coincidence though.




Dratula
Dratula is a character that can only be found in the Hub area. He speaks English and enjoys to annoy Froggy. He also tries to hide the fact that he's a penguin by saying he's dracula.




He is inspired by the character Count Orlok from the film "Nosferatu".








The Receptionist
There's not a lot known about the receptionist. They can only be found in the casino. They're hateful towards Ena and they speak French.



The Witch Sisters
There are four witch sisters (you have to find the 4th one after you cross the bridge), their names are unkown. They can only be found in the Uncanny Streets. They speak English.

The Shaman
The shaman is a character that can only be found in the seal tent located in Uncanny Streets. He wears a wizard costume and is percieved as a con-man by the witch sisters. He speaks english.



He is based on the Zelda CD-I games.

Hoarder Alex
Hoarder Alex is a character that can only be found in front of the bridge located in Uncanny Streets. He's a hoarder and is easily irritated, he speaks Italian.



Taski Maiden
Taski Maiden is a character that can be found in three different places, the Uncanny Streets, The Purge Event, and the maze that leads to the hidden shop. She is loud and mischievous. She speaks English.



She's inspired by a wool textile from Chimu culture.






The Taxi Driver
The taxi driver is a character that can only be found in Uncanny Streets. Each of the heads have their own individual names, Creisi, Doom, and Socio. Each head speaks English except the human looking one and they have different personalities.

The Watchers
The watchers are six eyed creatures who look like children. They are mainly seen in the Uncanny Streets but they can be found in other places too.

Nonkey Jong
Nonkey Jong is an ape that can only be found in a hidden area located in the Lost Village. He is friendly and VERY talkative.

The Bus
The Bus is a character that's located on top of a building located in Uncanny Streets that you have to use the humanboard to get to, all he does is stretch in width and say "I'm bus!" when you interact with him. He speaks English.

Unforgiven Frank
Unforgiven Frank is a character that can only be found in the Lost Village, he was the ruler of said village and was once known as Lord Frank. He is friendly and sincere.

He's inspired by the card "King of Spades".



He wears a bandage over his eyes which might be a reference to the statue called "Lady Justice".

Kane
Kane is a character that can only be found in The Hub. He is friendly and speaks Russian.



He is inspired by maneki-neko dolls.



Coral Glasses
Coral Glasses is a character that can be found in The Hub. She is introverted and is constantly nervous. She speaks Korean.




She is inspired by the character Kanamori Sayaka from the anime "Keep Your Hands Off Eizoukeni!"


Mitu
Mitu is a character that can only be found in the Purge Event. She's bubbly and sarcastic. She has to say a four letter word in each sentence or else she'll be punished. She's based off the game hangman and speaks english.



She is inspired by the Hanged Man tarot card.

She is also inspired by a Tumi blade which is a sacrificial dagger.




Bunraku-man
Bunraku-man is a character that can be found in the Purge Event. He is a puppet and a loud partygoer.

He is a reference to a form of Japanese puppetry called "Bunraku"

Heh-Ito
Heh-Ito is a character that can only be found in the Purge Event. They are energetic and have acrobatic skills which they show off every time you interact with them.

They are inspired by the type of Japanese live action film, Tokusatsu.

Shoryo
Shoryo is a character that can only be found in the Uncanny Streets. He is a pet owner.



He's based on a Japanese cucumber horse called "Shoryo Uma" that was crafted for the festival of Obon.

The Walkers
The Walkers are mysterious beings that can only be found in the Core level of the game. They are inspired by samurai.

The Vending Machine
The Vending Machine can only be found in the Uncanny Streets, he is a vendor that is only willing to sell one mayo to Ena.



He is very obviously inspired by a gumball machine.
Bellham
Bellham can only be found in the Hub. He is confident and mysterious. He is inspired by a bell.

Theodora
Theodora is the genie of the Lonely Door, she is cold towards Ena and speaks Greek. She can be found in the Bathroom that's located in the Core level.

Either inspired by matryoshka dolls or an ancient vase.
Dahlia
Dahlia can only be found in the shop that's hidden inside of a maze, she is a mannequin head. She's also hateful towards Ena and insults her in almost every time you interact with her.
The End
I'm a huge fan of this game and I really like all the character designs, so I started to research all of the inspirations. Which, led me to make this guide for others that were as curious as me to know.
