Mute on Pause

Из за того что игра так же ставит музыку на паузу между комнатами данный мод пока не пригоден для нормальной игры к сожалению.

The difference is that the other mod requires REPENTOGON and mine doesn't.

Is there a difference between Mute on Pause and Disable Music in Pause Menu (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3455092084) or are they functionally the same?

I tried that, but the game's API doesn't allow that either.
There is a way to check for a button press, but it doesn't work as expected.
The game can be paused it 3 ways:
- Window lost focus - there is no button press, but the game is paused;
- Button ESC is pressed - a key is pressed, and the game is paused;
- Button P is pressed - a key is pressed, and the game is paused;

If I make the mod work with a button press as its hook, the "Window lost focus" case will not work.
There are even more problems with the key pressed hook, but I won't get into details as the previous statement is enough a drawback for me.

It may be possible in another way as I am reading at the moment but I doubt it will work.
I will try anyway and share.

What if it were not mute on pause but mute on key/button press, that also happens to be the pause key/button?

Yes. That's a problem which I don't know how to fix. The problem is that the mod stops the music on game pause, but the game actually is paused when in between rooms. The current game's API doesn't allow me to make it work better. This, or I just don't know how.
