Birthcake: Rebaked

Description
A spiritual Successor to the Birthcake Mod
Birthcake: Rebaked is a complete overhaul of the original Birthcake mod. It aims to significantly improve upon the code, compatibility, and features of the mod, alongside redesigning many of the questionably overpowered or underpowered effects not fit for a trinket.

Does not require REPENTOGON but does improve features in some areas when applicable!

Features
  • A single new trinket that has a unique effect for every character, similar to Birthright
  • One new challenge: Isaac's Birthday Party. Become a new character every floor and make your way "home"
  • Unique sprites for every character, even displaying on the HUD
  • Multilingual support! Supports English, Russian, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, and Ukrainian.
  • Extensive mod support for future implementation of modded character Birthcakes, on both this mod and on other mods' end (There's an API file for those interested!)

Compatible Mods
  • All modded characters without direct compatibility have a default effect! They'll receive a simple +10% all stats up
  • External Item Descriptions: Dynamic description that works similar to Birthright to display each character's effect
  • Mod Config Menu: A small but humble area for configuration options for the mod
  • Accurate Blurbs: Birthcake will accurately describe the effect granted
  • (RGON-ONLY)Voiding Effect: Apollyon and Tainted Apollyon's Birthcakes will have a much cooler effect to voided/abyssed trinkets

RGON would be the exact solution, yes, and in fact, the next update has granted access to a buncha stuff on the extra HUD. Can't say if I'll update Birthcake just for that one thing but it'll be possible when RGON's next update is out.

Theres currently no capabilities to be able to render anything in the extra HUD, that's why. It's the default item sprite as a backup in the scenario that I can't render the custom birthcake in a specific area.

dunno if this mod is dead or not but i want to point out that when you gulp the birthcake, it shows up reeeaaally small in the extra hud. it seems like theres a unique small sprite for the tiny birthcake, but i didnt see anyone point it out so i wanted to.

Do they have any mom's box improved effects? It dose not appear on the EID

One of my few "essential" mods! It just makes so much sense for there to be a trinket version of Birthright. Now only if someone created an active version of the same thing

T. Isaac birthcake is broken
If you hold the birthcake and pick up an item, that item gets duped in your inventory, simple. The problem is when you drop the birthcake, it also drops the duped item as a pedestal, which means you can technically get infinite of whatever item you want, simply by holding the drop key.

Eh wait you're right. Though I'm super "eh" on it as the customizability of EID definitely outshines Rep+'s IID. It's only really great for mods who don't already have EID support implemented.
