How to transfer save from REP(AB+) to REP+?[EN]

In this guide I will detail how to transfer a save from REPENTANCE or from AFTERBIRTH+ to REPENTANCE+.

Let's find the save

The save can be found at this path: C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance (Afterbirth+).

Copy save

After that, we copy the save file, let's say the save name can be: 20250126.rep_persistentgamedata1.dat.
For Afterbirth+, the name is: 20250119.abp_persistentgamedata1.dat.

Steam root folder

Go to the root Steam folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\*Steam profile ID*\250900\remote.
Delete all files in the "remote" folder, save and rename the files to: rep+persistentgamedata1.dat.

If you can't transfer your save

If you can't transfer your save, try using the Alt+F2 key combination in the Stats section (this section is in the REP+ main menu). If that doesn't work, unfortunately I can't help you.

That's it, you've transferred your saves.
