Mercurial Story:
Mercurial Story speak about a moody guy and his eternal fight between Anger and Happiness...
A Puzzle - Platform Game with strange Gravity!

You can try a tech-demo made in Flash or Android (18 levels):

The game has already an ending but basically I want to port it on Steam and expand it with at least:
  • 60 levels divided by moods (Happiness, Anger, Sadness, etc.).
  • New mechanics (like the box-mecchanics that you see in the bonus levels of the demo)
  • A long Story and lots of character to explain a bit more life of the moody guy.
  • Voiceover storytelling.
  • More languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.

The original game (originally called "Bipolar World") was made in 72hours for the Ludum Dare Competition with the theme "Connected Worlds".
The game ranked #17 out of 1400 entries in the Jam, with an Overall score of 4.18 out of 5.

t's not that common with games that really has something to say. The story really sucked me in, and even though I'm dead tired and just want to go to bed (slept 2 hrs last night trying to finalize my entry) I just couldn't stop playing this until I got through to the end. This was excellent! Not often you get a chance to see the picture from a bipolar per sons perspective, but I think you illustrated it very well.

Nice implementation of the theme, through both the story and the gameplay! The gravity mechanic was a lot of fun and used to its potential, and was strong enough to have driven the entire game. The levels were varied enough to keep the game interesting all the way through, and the added challenge of getting the pill in each stage was a nice touch that let the level design really shine.

I like the way each level tells us a bit more about the story.
The dual melody was enjoyable, almost funny when the player was oscillating between both worlds. Characters are cute.

I hope you like it,
