This seems to work with Anchor Ceti 1.15. (At least, the 'reveals the entire map prompt shows up for the technoogy.)

I can confirm that this mod works fine with Rising Tide.

No Idea as I don't have that, but the mod is very very simple, it might still work, try it out.

Does this work with Rising Tide?

If anyone here has played Civ 3, once you got a late-game tech, I don't remember it's name, it revealed the whole map. This is a great mod.

I like the concept because it gives my poor video card a break. sometimes the game slows to a crawl. Thankyou

@tookmeforever about that the developers said in beta the game started with the map explored, but this took the fun out of exploring, which is an important aspect of any civ game. Besides, the cargo choice that reveal coasts is basically that, someone took out a camera out of the cryo pod and now after landing you know the shape of the continents :)

It always upset me that these advanced civilizations could build a starship but not a camera. I could just see them in their starships as they reached their new planet. "Wow guys, this planet is amazing! Someone take a picture so we have a map. What? No one has a camera?!". I don't mind having to explore to find resources, but basic map should have been available from start IMO.
Thanks for the good work.

I know, Im sorry I kinda went off on a tangent, I was more directing at the people then the mod itself. The mod is ok, I was kinda surprised they didnt have a late game tech for it already. Sometimes a game mechanic is more imortant then what maybe more realistic. Games are made to escape reaility to somewhere cooler and more fantastic.
