The scenario is desingned above a hypothesis that the commonwealth army failed to defend Egypt in 1941.
In 1940/9, the Italians embarked on an invasion into egypt, O'connor soon responded with a raid that drove the Italians out of Benghazi. However, Graziani reacted quickly and operated a successful retreat which managed to Retaine mostpart of the Italian forces.
After the Arrival of Rommel in early 1941, the axis started an offensive manuver so overwhelming that the british army failed to carry out any disruption operations. Toburk fell in Feburary.
Soon did the commonwealth existance in Africa Collapsed as Italians carried out their own counter-offensive in east Africa and the Vichy France army did the same in Syria. Churchil ordered a full retreat from Africa before the fall of Alexandria.
With the Axis advancing, a coup-d'etat happened in Iraq where Rashid Ali proclaimed himself Chief of the National Defence Government. Churchil realised that this means Iraq would join the axis anytime and if so Rommel would be able to advance into Iran and fully control the resources and strongpionts in th Middle-East. Quickly did he amassed troops at the Iraqi-Kuwaiti border preparing for an invasion to overthrow Rashild Ali.
The scenario begins at the start of the invasion, 4/1/1941. Same time as Rommel advance into Alexandria.

Rules:
Since that the restriction zone in the north is to simluate the northern part of Iraq, Commenwealth forces are therefore not expected to enter.

Notes:
There is a restrion zone at the west border of the map symbolizing the arrival of Free French army from Syria, this zone will be lifted at turn 4.
Commenwealth has their major supply points in Kuwait city and Port Umm Qasr. Axis has their major supply points in the northen border and in Bagdad, while there are also minor commenwealth supply points in Bagdad.
Both sides has minor supply points in Al Basrah, An Nasiriyah, As Samawah, Ad Diwaniyah, Al Hillah, and Al Iskandariyah.
