How to make a low effort steam points farm
By Radiooze
Do you have no well constructed advice, skilfully made fanart, or ingame footage that you can upload to the community for steam points? Try this!

Step 1
Go to the community page of your desired audiences favourite games.
People likely to give you undeserving awards will most likely need to have gotten steam points themselves to give away, this means you will want to post on the community of a game that costs money or feature micro transactions.

Next,
Find the "Guides" tab, once you have finished looking at actually helpful advice, relish in the fact that you are going to get much more recognition then them. (repeat if necessary)

Finally
Click the "Create Guide" button.
Step 2
Wow! That sure was a lot of effort...
Feel free to take a brain-break, perhaps find a popular discord server and shamelessly self promote your YouTube, Twitch or other content creation channel?

Hey,
before you do that, check out my channel! the link is https://youtubefrfr.com/@verylegitchannel
I'm joking,
Step 3
the time has come:
for you to fill in the Basic Guide Information. Type something imaginative like For the title, copy paste something from this extensive list:
  • How to jump
  • How to open the game
  • How to shoot

your doing great!
Next, add a description. You can do something creative like pretending the guide is much more helpful than it actually is, or you could get straight to the point and re-word the title of the guide. whatever you write, remember: other than the title, this is the first thing people will see.

Now for the fun part:
Add in a cover image, it can be whatever you like but most people tend to select:
  • A "gigachad" image, despite it being outdated
  • A picture of the game in the character edit screen
  • The first file you click on when you open the file browser
Oops, not that one, that file isn't the right size!
FINAL STEP
Heres what matters most
The actual contents of the guide. Expand the "guide contents" and click "edit" on the "(untitled section)" element

Next
Type an unfunny body text that very very briefly explains what the title was trying to say. Don't make it too long! The shorter the better.

Final step!
To the right of the text box is a grey area with another file selector at the bottom. Before you upload your work, upload a GIF of a mouse clicking through to award a Golden Unicorn.
Alternatively, if you have titled your guide How to start (game name), you should instead place a picture of the play button with red arrows drawn pointing to it.

Afterthoughts
You've done great, and imagine that, it only took about 5 minutes for plenty of awards and funny comments to come in! So many "Extra Helpful"s and Russian Spam Bot Accounts!

Thanks for reading,
if you are the type of person to waste points on copy paste farm guides, I urge you to stop supporting this bullcrap, donate points to a guide that actually helps people, or is actually funny. Have a good one.
