Operation Red Plan (US-Iran)

Description
Lead a multi carrier group to strike deep in the Iranian territory. Manage Air-Sea and Submarine threats to deliver a decisive blow and end a major regional crisis.

Mission context:

In recent weeks, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has escalated military actions around the Strait of Hormuz, threatening international maritime traffic. Hostilities reached a peak when the USS Valkyrie, a U.S. Navy destroyer on routine patrol in international waters, came under direct missile attack from IRGC-controlled installations, resulting in severe casualties and extensive damage. Following this incident, two additional vessels—the USS Liberty and USS Sentinel—suffered similar attacks, confirming a coordinated escalation against U.S. forces.

Diplomatic Collapse:

The United States pursued immediate diplomatic engagement to de-escalate; however, Tehran has maintained absolute silence on all channels, rejecting all communication attempts and recalling US based embassy personnel. This blackout has left no option for peaceful resolution, necessitating a decisive military response.

Casus Belli:

The series of unprovoked IRGC strikes against U.S. naval assets and Iran's refusal to respond diplomatically constitute acts of aggression. Intelligence indicates these actions are part of a broader Iranian strategy to control regional waters and destabilize allied interests.

Objective:

Operation Red Plan has been activated, with a multi-carrier group task force now stationed off the coast of Iran, prepared to initiate a full-scale response. The following objectives have been prioritized:

Neutralize Iranian Air Force Response: The first objective is to disable Iran’s air-to-air response capabilities, effectively grounding their fighter jets and interceptors to ensure U.S. air superiority in the operational zone.

Eliminate Coastal SAM Installations: Suppression of key surface-to-air missile sites along the coast is critical to enabling safe entry for allied aircraft and securing an uncontested airspace.

Primary IRGC Command Base: This installation serves as the nerve center for IRGC operations and houses top leadership. Neutralizing this base will significantly degrade Iran’s command capabilities.

Military Production Facilities: Identified weapons production facilities must be neutralized to disrupt IRGC supply chains and prevent resupply of critical armaments.

Strategic Weapon Caches: Multiple fortified sites containing advanced weaponry, including missile stockpiles and heavy artillery, are to be neutralized to prevent further IRGC offensive capabilities.

Bonus Objective:

A group of Iranian Navy cruisers has been detected patrolling near the operational zone. While not a primary target, neutralizing this fleet will reduce Iranian naval capabilities and further secure the area for U.S. forces.

Submarine activity has also been detected in the vicinity, necessitating heightened vigilance and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) protocols.

All carrier strike groups and allied forces are to proceed with these objectives, ensuring operational success and reestablishing stability in the region.
