American forces are to slow the transportation of supplies and materials for the Nguyen Hue Offensive, an invasion of South Vietnam by the North Vietnamese People's Army of Vietnam, by launching bombing operations on key North Vietnamese military installations like, factories, SAM Site's, and warehouses outside of Hanoi.
