Description
GOOD MORNING, KOREA!

You will command the USS Wisconsin an Iowa-class Battleship & the USS Duncan an O. H. Perry-class Frigate. Your objective is to rid the coast of filthy communist costal guns! The North Koreans are ready, Are You?

Mission is inspired the real event that took place on March 15, 1952.

On March 15, 1952, while operating off the coast of Korea, the USS Wisconsin received its first and only direct hit from a North Korean 155mm gun battery. The shell struck the shield of a starboard-side twin 40mm gun mount, causing minor damage to the ship and injuring three sailors, but no fatalities.

In response to this attack, the crew of the USS Wisconsin, fueled by anger and a desire for retribution, returned fire with all nine of their Mark 7 16-inch guns. The firepower of these guns was enormous, each capable of firing a 2,700-pound armor-piercing shell over 20 miles. This salvo obliterated the North Korean gun battery that had hit them.

Following this powerful response, a ship escorting the Wisconsin, the USS Duncan, humorously signaled to the Wisconsin with the message “Temper, Temper,” acknowledging the Wisconsin’s overwhelming response to the attack.

Battleship gets hit instantly by 2 or 3 shells knocks everything out immediately. Suggestion would be to move them out of range, they lob them pretty far. I even used the new mod for Battleships (with nucleart capability) and every time, the barrage knocks out everything, leaving both ships dead in the water within the first few seconds. The first set of batteries is done, but there's no ship left after that. Maybe change down the calibre of the installations? Given us a fighting chance. Of you have done it, how???

I made a version of this where you start farther away... with nothing else to shoot at the guns shoot down the helicopters and even the recon jet. lol had to keep moving them around. in the original mission. you need to have all guns firing. even the escort ship's. manually fire the missiles at targets further down on your list. some will hit some will miss. make sure to give a list of targets to each gun type. make sure that each gun type isnt doubling up on targets. i was able to kill enough guns and pull far enough away to save the ship without much issue.

There is an invisible unit firing at my ships under water in the second enemy group, cant be seen or selected, might be a model bug.

wouldn't have been this close to the coast if there was hostile guns. sorry im not having fun with this scenario. played it 5 times bb dies every time. let it got loud still dies try and sail a way still dies. keep weapons tight still dies. weapons free still dies. also 5 in guns wouldn't pin her like that. just a fyi. i realize you don't control damage output.
