How to Spacebuild

So you've heard about the wonderful gamemode of Spacebuild and want to play. This guide intends to help you learn how to do just that!

What Is Spacebuild?

Spacebuild is an addon, formerly a gamemode, created by SnakeSVx for his Custom Addon Framework. After the release of Spacebuild 3 the community split, resulting in many servers and popular addons never updating, and the death of many with GMod 13. However several servers still run this addon.

Now this all sounds nice, but what exactly do you do in spacebuild?

How Do I Get Spacebuild?

It is possible to get Spacebuild in 2 ways:

• SnakeSVx's GitHub or
  
• The workshop

The Workshop

Spacebuild 3 and the Spacebuild Enhancement Pack are both available on the workshop. The license for both of these addons was changed in the final commit to the repository allowing the current workshop maintainer to put them up on the workshop.

Where Do I Play Spacebuild?

Good question! Many Spacebuild servers can be found in the "Spacebuild 3" gamemode, although some are catagorized under "Sandbox". A spacebuild server can be recognized by the prescence of "Spacebuild", "Spacebuild 3", "SB", or "SB3" in its name, or in some cases the running of a sb_ map. Remember: not all servers running sb_ maps are spacebuild. Like wise not all spacebuild maps start with sb_

• BloxGaming SB3 bloxgaming.com:27015 Runs a large number of Spacebuild addons including Gas Systems, Mining, Resource Transit System, EVE Ship Cores, EVE Caches, Stargate and PewPew
