Small suggestion: could you consider placing the units and fortresses for Sauron on the left side and the units and fortresses for the Fellowship on the right side of the central board instead, swap the starting values of the coin counters, and also switch the yellow player seat to be on the right side?
This would make it such that the Sauron (first) player would be seated on the left side of the table and the Fellowship (second) player would be seated on the right side of the table, thereby also corresponding to their turn order, position on the ring track, and player colour!
