Boosting Performance in Planet Coaster

Don’t we all want more FPS? Especially in Planet Coaster, performance can be pretty harsh sometimes. In order to keep the game playable, most players run their game with a guest limit. Since Planco is heavily bound to single-core performance, there isn’t much you can do in terms of performance.

Improving Performance

That was until I found an application called Lossless Scaling. Lossless Scaling is an application that supports multiple scaling algorithms and frame generation methods. Running a game at 30FPS, with Lossless Scaling enabled, it will make a new frame (say 1.5) and insert it between frames 1 and 2, doubling your FPS and making the game feel smoother. I’ve reached 13k visitors and the game is still playable for me! (I’ve got decent hardware too.)

Major benefits are:

- Not messing with game files, maintaining stability.
- Playing other games smoother!

When launching Lossless Scaling, select the newest Frame Generation (2.3)
Press Scale and enter the game!
