SACLOS ATGM "PGM-71 MOW" [Weapons DLC]

설명
PGM-71 MOW

The PGM-71 Munition-launched, Optically Tracked, (W)Radio Guided, is a powerful SACLOS ATGM that is portable, accurate, and small. Capable of being placed defensively, mounted on a vehicles, or perhaps even launched from a helicopter, the missile is compact and deadly up to 2km and cannot be defeated by chaff. It can hit stationary targets, moving targets, and even helicopters with a skilled enough hand!

This missile has no affiliation with the BGM-71 TOW ATGM and any familiar features are coincidence.

Information:

  • Small warhead
  • Slightly over 2km range
  • Semi-automatic command line-of-sight guidance (SACLOS) for all targets
  • Reloadable

How To Use:

  1. Make sure the breaker is on, then hit the first switch labeled 'Enable Systems'.
  2. The launcher will be pointed upwards by default. Use 'WASD' to move the platform. Press 'Space' to launch the missile
  3. The Optic has a horizontal line beneath the center of the crosshair. If this line is intersecting with the ground in line-of-sight when fully zoomed in, you risk the missile hitting the ground after launch! Aim slightly above the target to compensate then bring the crosshair down.
  4. To load, hit '1' and grab the missiles manually, shoving them into the hard point connectors.
TIP: Be gentle with adjustments to improve accuracy!

This vehicles uses NO XML modifications, and is entirely vanilla. Please enjoy!

yeah go for it. why upload things to the workshop at all if people aren't gonna use it creatively :)

Hey, can I rip out some of this thing's control systems and shove it into my own not-missile-but-still-saclos-guided-thing? I'll make sure to credit you if I post it.

I understand. good luck for the future

I have been very busy, and it seems very difficult to aim without moving the laser point sensor because of how small the missiles is and it's inability to adjust to large movements without stabilizing fins

so what's happend?

Thank you very much. I don't know how well I could explain myself, but my main purpose is to use it for the Losat system in my workshop.

Yeah you can use it, just provide a link to this page. I can probably set up a guidance system that follows the player's view where the sensor remains stationary

I understand I think it's a good system for an ATGM launcher because it's easier to aim unlike laser guided missiles, the laser has to touch a point for targeting, if it doesn't the tracking becomes invalid etc. If you allow, I would like to use it in my own Atgm launcher. If you allow, I have one more question. Is there a way to target without moving the LPS?

Laser point sensors have a maximum range of about 2km, whereas laser point sensor (missile) has 4.5-5km range. The issue is that the LPS is far, FAR more accurate in terms of it's positional readings, whereas the LPS(M) uses the same code as radars, which means there's a significant amount of noise. I use so many for the long range missiles to try and even out any deviation.

Also i just started experimenting with the regular LPS so im figuring it out

If it can be done with a single laser pointer, why are there so many laser-guided heads in your structures?
