Description

Ice is slippery to walk on!

Pawns will have a risk of falling when walking on icy surfaces. If they fall it will take a little while to get up again.
There are options to set the risk of falling as well as selecting what type of pawns it should affect.
By default only humanoid pawns will have a risk of falling.

Supported mods that adds ice-terrain:

Adding more terrain as slippery only requires the adding of a mod extension via a patch. See the included patches as an example.

To stop your colonists and visitors from walking on the ice I suggest building bridges and use [KV] Path Avoid or Clean Pathfinding 2 to keep them on their feet.

@tofohan barbecue Seems to have been an issue with the slipping logic, should be fixed now

hidden headdiff on, no slippery ice headdiff.
Dude walked outside 10 seconds after this and slipped, and the headdiff came up.
Despite not being enabled in settings on pawns at all.

If it works fine for you, then it must be a mod conflict on my end.

The hediff removes itself auto, when the pawn is no longer on ice no?
Are you talking about the visible headiff that says something along the lines of "slippery ice (regaining balance)" ? if so no,
since most of them get it removed when they spend time inside my ice bunker (which is 99 percent of the time).

It does however get re-applied despite my settings, upon re-entering the ice again despite my mod settings. Maybe its a mod conflict issue.

If no, and its a different- invisible headiff, then no i have not.

@tofohan barbecue Well, the slipping is a hediff on each pawn. Did you remove that after disabling it to be reapplied in the settings?
interceptor Jun 1 @ 7:14am
i just wanted it for them not to slip every five meters and lose their guns i just equipped them with, but then that didnt fix the problem so i disabled pawn slipping at all in mod settings.

didnt do anything either, even post restart, reload etc.
clearly broken mod options, albeit the mod itself at its core works still. maybe too well.

mod options doesent work for it,
ive disabled pawn option and they still slip constantly on the ice.
so i have to disable the mod.

be aware for all downloading

This is top of my head but i believe being under 16-20% movement also downs a pawn
