Infernal Miasma

Simple mod that increases the health loss uppon entering miasma to 25. Want a bit of challenge?

Honestly I just want a mod that prevents your workers from automatically removing miasma once you research certain techs when on auto-improve. I mean, if i put down a miasma creator, I don't want some stupid worker to clear strategically placed miasma instead of putting down really important strategic resource improvements

Is it possible to have various types of Miasma? Some Infernal and some normal. Perhaps a script which would make miasma nastier the cloer you get to a nest?

Also, something to add to what marcelo.dsds said. Perhaps this mod could use an added scout to represent aerial drones based on the alien drone in that it is really cheap, weak, flies, cannot attack nor do anything other than get resource pods (and I'd counsel against even that)

This way you can scout your immediate area but might have to wait a bit till you get the tech to make exploring less hazardous.

Like miasma isnt pain enough. Its just plain annoying having to constantly think about where your units are positioned. I like the freedom of attacking from any angle..

I always flet that the planet should be extremely deadly to humans due to the simple fact of us not having adapted to the planet's ecosystem yet. This is a mod I'll keep around, Good job.

never setting my militaries to "explore" again after I subscribe it.

just 2 things to things to consider:
1st- explorers (unit) are supposed to be prepared for the hazards they may find in their way, their function is that after all... while weak as a combat unit, they should have the equipment to explore the planet with easy, so I belive they should not be affected by this mod... in other worlds, just like harmony gives damage reduction to units from miasma, explorers should have default 15 damage reduction to miasma, taking the deafult 10 dmg from it.

2nd- since I mentioned Harmony, their perks should escale with the new miasma damage... 5 reduction from 25 dmg is nothing, once again, I reccomend you make so lvl 3 harmony reduces miasma damage to that of vanilla

Apparently in the pre-Alpha of the game, miasma did 50 dmg per turn. Just some food for thought

I just fixed what stopped the mod from working. It's tested and finally works. Enjoy!
