how to 100% DOOM

this guide will teach you how to 100% the game.

BIG TIP!!!!

this grind and many achievements are SUPER DUPER hard, and so I want to give you the knowledge I know and the Knowledge I USED

here are some USEFULL CHEATCODES---------------
to help you do this EASIER


IDKFA - happy ammo (gives 100 health, 200 armour, unlocks all weapons and ammo) 1/2 best cheatcodes.

IDBEHOLDS - BERSERK (useful for one achievement).

IDBEHOLDL - (makes everything lighter for a few moments).

IDCLIP / IDSPISPOPD - no-clip (VERY useful for game completion!!) (you'll have to disable the code to be able to pickup, interact with teleporters).

IDDQD - degreelessness mode (basically god mode) 2/2 best cheatcodes.


(to use these codes, open map then type in the code you want to use. on normal key binds, tab is map).

DOOM achivements

here will info be shown you the achievements off DOOM

(most of them i got from e1m1)

-An important looking door
you can get this buy walking through that big room in e1m1, with the zombie henchmen and two demons, kill them all so you don't have distractions for later. next to the room that leads to the end of the map, should be a funny looking wall (lighter or darker shade). once you open it, there you should see a staircase down to - two zombie henchmen.

-Groovy
go up to the left of the start of e1m1 and kill the two of them (I think they spawn if you are on a higher difficulty) one can drop a shotgun, if not just quick restart. and continue the room with two zombie henchmen with one demon and lour them out and gather them into a line and kill them

-Timing is perfect
at the end of e1m1, there are two enemies and one barrel on each side (left and right side once you enter the second last room), all you do is take the pistol, or shotgun and shoot the barrel.

-Not so friendly fire
all you do for this is try to make one henchman shoot the other by lining them up, they'll start to try to kill one an other.

-Clean state
to do this you run through the e1m1 map and kill everything that moves, once all the enemies on the way to the end are dead, here are some enemies you may have missed if you didn't check, two enemies to the left of the start of the game (i think on higher there will be two others bellow).

one will be hiding in a room under where the two demons stood on if you killed them, to enter you either cheat, or you kill everything in there. then you walk past the room, open the door to the end and then walk back. then there should be a big open room with one shotgun zombie.

-Overkill
only way to do this in e1m1 is to use the happy ammo code shown at the BIG TIPS.
all you do is take the BFG and fire on the final demon at the end (shown only on harder difficulties).


-Cookin' with plasma
same with ¨Overkill¨, use the code: happy ammo. to get the plasma blaster, then just kill 5 enemies real fast (5 enemies within 5 seconds)

-Overprepared
to do this, I would just go through maps and find a blue orb, use the no-clip code to get it

-A man and a half
this is an achievement that is not that simple to complete on e1m1, I'd rather use the code in e1m2, then just use the berserk code, run around and punch the enemies

-The only thing they fear is you
to do this, the easiest in my opinion, is to use e1m1. kill everything that moves(NEEDS TO BE ON ULTRA VIOLENCE) (DON'T EXIT. while you do this achievement you can get another one :Burning out of control and Hoarder: how to get them bellow)

-Doormat

-Burning out of control

-Hoarder
here, just try to get damaged a lot, then pick up everything. if you have too much health or armour, go outside (shown by :An important looking door: go through there and stand on the poison)

-Guns are for wusses
easiest way is to use the 2/2 best code for all achievements on high difficulty to just run around and punch the enemies and repeat the mission

next easiest is to play on hurt me plenty and just beat up every enemy and re do the e1m1 again and again till you have it.

-Alternate dimension

-Shoot it until it dies
on mission e2m9, there will be a boss named the Cyberdemon, to do this the easiest way, use either the: 2/2 best code to grind him out without breaking a sweat.

-More like a dream
this is super hard to do, but to make it easier, use the: 2/2 best code to beat a mission without breaking a sweat

-bowling for gibs
here, use the code: happy ammo to get the rocket launcher, here just run to the place where three enemies are (easiest on a higher difficulty cause there will be three enemies gathered together at the next room)

-Untouchable
to do this, the easiest way. is to use the no-clip code and 2/2 best code to rush through the game on Nightmare.

-Until it's done
just use the: happy ammo code and run around killing enemies with the chainsaw.

-Heavenly joy
use the: happy ammo code and just fire the minigun aimlessly or on enemies until it has no ammo.

-DOOM
complete the DOOM game, to do this easier, use the codes above and do your best.

DOOM II achivements

here will info be shown you the achievements off DOOM II

-Skeet shotgun
here, use the code: happy ammo then gather up enemies and shoot them with the required shotgun

-DOOM II

Master of Levels

-Kill it with fire
on e1m6, have a hard difficulty to make this process faster. find or use the code: happy ammo to get the flame thrower and kill 30 arachnoid/spider demons. there will be up to six in my memory at close to the start of the map

-Screen wipe
on e2m6, there will be a giant acid place to the left of the map, to get there the easiest way, use the no-clip code to get there super easily (SAVE ONCE YOU'RE THERE!) then use the: happy ammo code AND 2/2 best code. then go to the left OR right, and charge your weapon and hope for the best. if it doesn't pop, try again. (some people turn on enemy respawning before doing this).

(this achievement was very excruciating but it will pop eventually if you keep on trying )

achievement through the whole game

there are actually many that are throughout the whole game but I sort of mashed them together in DOOM (1993) tab


but here is one that is through out the whole game

-Indiscriminate Headhunter
here you'll need to kill EVERY ENEMY in the game. this is ¨sort of¨ easy but time consuming. to do this, is to just, go through every game and mark of enemies you've killed off.... or just kill everything throughout the whole game.

-Alternate dimension
here there are many secret maps, here is a list

DOOM (1993)
E1M9: Military Base, accessed from E1M3: Toxin Refinery.
E2M9: Fortress of Mystery, accessed from E2M5: Command Center.
E3M9: Warrens, accessed from E3M6: Mt. Erebus.
E4M9: Fear, accessed from E4M2: Perfect Hatred

DOOM II (1994)
MAP31: Wolfenstein, accessed from MAP15: Industrial Zone.
MAP32: Grosse, a super secret level accessed from MAP31.

for me, the journey was pretty fun but yet very tiring. unlike me you could want to do this separately or try to speed run through out a day.

"the only thing they fear is you." popped for me, i was just messing around and didnt realize i didnt even get hit on the very first attempt of the first level. its been a long time since i played doom. Im not sure if i got hit or not, honestly i was in pure nostalgia mode. Im not sure if im lucky or not

I guess i'll have to try in another map, I've done it without letting any of the enemies kill each other and also without saving at all. Still didn't pop the achievement for me.

I had the same idea for "the only thing they fear is you." definitely didn't take any damage and i got 100% kills but it didn't pop for me. Anyone else have this issue?
