The "center" Constructor was making Iron Plates until maybe the last 30 minutes. I had almost 6 stacks in inventory when I switched it to Iron Rods.
In the future, I would use a standalone Smelter/Constructor for Iron Plates and leave it on Iron Rods the whole time.
