Play as two independent pixels trying to get as far as possible in this crazily hard and addictive action game that is Twixel!

Twixel includes:

• Ability to control two independent pixels that must avoid all the obstacles coming at them, both symmetrical and asymmetrical to try and last the longest.
• Choose between 2D and 3D graphics!
• 3 difficulty levels, 3 Hyper ones and 1 extreme level with over 70+ obstacles to avoid. The longer you play it, the better you’ll become.
• Instant death mechanic if either of the pixels get caught on an obstacle, making you retry time and time again.
• Increasing speed means that levels will get faster, pushing your skills to the limit
• Levels bounce to the tune of the music, which is done by the fantastic Robin Ogden (
• Ability to share your scores via Facebook or Twitter, with leaderboards set to come if the game gets greenlit!
• Controller support
• Achievements incoming if the game gets greenlit

Thank you for your feedback @The Professor. I changed the graphics 4 times, and this is what I finished with. At first I used bumpmapping and lighting effects, but I found that it affected the gameplay too much, so after many iterations, and feedback from testers, I settled on simple graphics to keep the gameplay the main focus rather than eye candy. To each their own, but thank you for being honesty.

I don't like the browser game graphics. I've seen this idea done so much better. This simply is not at all impressive.

Looks like an absolute blast! :tgrin:

I look forward to seeing how devilishly hard this can get with that great music thumping over the top. Seems to marry up very well just like it does in Rez.
