Squad Leveling Guide

Assuming you've read my list of tips and tricks, this is the next step for you as a new player on how to level up a new squad properly.

The List.

There are 3 different categories when leveling up a squad.

1. Squad upgrades unlocks all the potentials for the squad. Like having more soldiers and include other class of soldier. I highly recommend you to fully upgrade this one first as not only it allows you to bring more soldiers, it also increase the exp gain for the squad itself which in return will let the squad level up faster. Late tier squads will have more exp requirement than the ones you currently have.
2. Personnel upgrades unlocks the level for the soldier thats related to the squad. When you unlocked all the upgrades within this category, the related soldier class will able to become level 5 and levels up faster when you buy new ones. You can see within the tree itself which class of soldier the squad belongs to.

3. Workshop upgrades is similar to personnel upgrades but its for weapons or vehicles. Difference is, you can pick which weapon or vehicle you want to upgrade first. Keep in mind that you dont "Upgrade" the weapon or vehicle but rather the ABILITY to upgrade them. When you get all the necessary unlocks to fully upgrade a weapon or vehicle, go for the Discount node to make the upgrade cheaper.
