KH 1.5 + 2.5 slow motion and stuttering workaround

Having stuttering or Just booted the game and fps is all over the place or game is in slow motion? Yep, I had the same, here is what I did to fix these problems on my rtx 3080.

Until there is a fix this is your best attempt at playing the game, tabbing out of game then back in can introduce screen tearing which requires a game reset, sadly no work around for this one due to gsync being disabled.

Nvidia control panel (add each KH game or global settings)

1. Go into Nvidia control panel, (after booting up the game) select the game from the list or just use general settings if you can't be bothered adding each separate KH game

2.Disable GSYNC / Variable refresh rate

3. Disable Vsync

In game graphics options settings

4. Slow motion in game? Slow motion? erratic fps?
In game display options - check display resolution matches your desktop resolution, higher resolutions are severely bugged,
In game display options - do NOT use fullscreen display mode (causes extreme slow motion + poor fps)
In game display options - frame rate = unlocked, refresh rate = off (stuttering workaround with nvidia control panel settings as above)

Also gsync doesn't matter it seems in this game. Just make sure in game resolution matches your screen resolution. As the game likes to use higher resolutions for some reason causing the slow motion.

If it doesn't appear means you don't have a g-sync or vrr monitor or it is disabled in monitor settings. Worth checking there. Windows settings does have a variable refresh setting in display settings also worth checking.
